I use this for running a Seagate Gamedrive for PS4 (4tb) on my computer. It stays connected and running basically all the time, and it hasn't failed yet in the two weeks i've had it. Thick, durable, and can handle constant large data transfers without overheating.

Bought as a replacement for the wear-faulty cable that came with the WD My Passport external hard drive. The cable length is more than sufficient for both daily and edge-case uses and quite hardy despite its flexibility so it seems like it'll hold on for a while even with regular use-induced movement.

I don't know if this cable is sturdy, since I only received it a few days ago, but it appears to be of durable material, and it works well.

Good connector for WD disk, however quite expensive. Wonder why the out of box cable has the old USB connector
