Works as it should, but read the review for more info
Worked just fine. I was aware it didn’t work for every function of the sunroof if installed on the left side. I removed the still functional OEM motor from the right side, placing it on the left. Put this one on the right. By doing this we still have all the functions of the sunroof.

Works like new
Ordered two one for both sides and they work flawlessly. Seen others complain about tilt not working but it works perfect in my 2015 explorer sport. Cost half the price of O.E. and works the same.

Works for open/close feature
Bought a used Ford Explorer, sunroof didn’t work (Note: shade portion did). Read the reviews, rolled the dice, and well, ran into same issue -Tilt didn’t work. Which I am 100% fine with, because i feel like that feature was made for smokers or passing gas. It opens and closes no problem. Job took about 45-60 min. from start to finish. Beats paying $300 for OEM. You got this.

Just scroll to the last paragraph for a short review
Out of the box, this would not work at all. It appears their cast is worn and the tolerances are not correct. You will likely need to open up the guides pictured or it binds and wouldn't move at the appropriate speed. The motor is weak as well. I ended up taking the electronics from this one and mounting it to the old OE motor as it was still operational and only failed due to the notorious clogged sunroof drains corroding the electronics. Also, it will not accept the command to initialize. The differences in the board are obvious. due to this, it will not work as a glass motor but it seems to work as a shade motor. Luckily, my shade motor was still fully operational so I used that for the glass motor and used this Chinese garbage for the shade motor. I made sure to initialize the shade before switching the motors, then initialized the glass after the switch and one touch features work on both motors now. Due to these issues, it is a 1 star rating Please heed this warning: I spent 4 hours sorting through, what should have been a 45 minute job. The money I saved not purchasing a more reputable part, we're spent in years taken off my life over this headache. Go buy the AutoZone/O'Reilly/napa/OE part instead.

Sort of works. No tilt, just slide open/closed.
Easy enough fix. Watched a few YouTube videos and it was done on less than an hour. Sunroof opens and closes, but tilt function does not work. I guess we can live with that fir the low price rather than buying OEM. 2 stars since the tilt doesn't work or I'd have given it 5.

DOES FIT 2015 Explorer, easy to install
So far works great. Just put in today. This DOES FIT A 2105 ford explorer. Listing said can not confirm. But it DOES. Simple, once you get the headliner down. Only 3 screws. Definitely recommend.

IT WORKS.
Just buy it and save your money and don’t spend the $300 on a motor craft one. My issue was window was stuck in open position I had to take alligator clamps from the battery to the 2 prongs on the motor of my existing one to get the window in the tilt position …. The board was fried on the existing “damaged” one After that took the existing motor off. Put this new one on and did the sequence of -open driver door -start car -turn car off within 2-3 seconds of starting -start car again -press and let off “tilt” -press and hold tilt indefinitely until the window goes through the whole open close process then you’re good. There should be a instruction on how to program this Watch videos on you tube… “figure it Out”

No matter how I program the motor I cannot get the tilt feature to work with this motor on my 2014 Ford Explorer. I can only get the slide function to work. Still for the price vs the original I can live without the tilt.
