Nature's Plus Orange Juice Jr, Vitamin C Supplement - 100mg, 180 Tablets

I was searching for a low dose of vitamin C, since most seem to be 500 mg. I had an experience with a kidney stone when I was taking 500 mg of vitamin C which I did not want to repeat. I found this 100 mg vitamin C product, and take one in the evening. The amount of vitamin C in these is almost the same as in a small orange. These have an orange flavor with isn't the best but is ok. The tablets are chewable. The price was good. Sometimes a lower dose is better.

Too much supplemental Vitamin C can make men more susceptible to developing kidney stones. I, in the past, would routinely take 1000 mg per day. This amount may have contributed to me developing two kidney stones. Around 90 mg per day was recommended for my age. I consume fresh lemon and lime juice daily now to hopefully stave off future oxalate stones. This citrus consumption probably meets recommended daily allowance, however, I would like to have a tad extra as health insurance. This chewable " orange juice " is delicious and gives just an extra edge for daily health maintenance---- hopefully without precipitating stones.

This is my go-to Vit C. It tastes great (love tangy orange flavor and love it's not a typical chalky chewable), is a good price, and does exactly what I need it to do -- serve as a preventive measure and sometimes an extra dose of Vit C when I'm not feeling 100%. Highly recommend!
