Easy installation for my electrician. No surprises for him. Can be used without app just simply plug in and your car will began charging. I own a 2024 Nissan Ariya. No charging adaptors are needed. This item is rated to be used outside for those of you that do not have a garage. Materials seem so far to be of good quality.I was easily spending $20-$30 a day to fast charge my vehicle until I had this Wallbox Pulsar 2 installed. Now I believe it will be a lot cheaper to charge overnight.I’ve downloaded the app and it has a few features I like such as charge schedules and how much energy you use. You can even enter the amount of money your local utility charges to get an exact amount of money your spending for home charging.I live in Tampa, Florida with a warm climate so I can not testify how it would operate in cold climates.

Sophisticated, Sturdy, Reliable, Easy to Use, Great App: 40A with NEMA 14-50 outlet
I read all the reviews here, at Forbes and other articles, and took a shot at this product. I love it. I admit to being a gadget freak, and love smart-home devices. I bought the 40 amp unit, which requires a 50 AMP 240v circuit breaker. I had a permit pulled by my electrician and my village wanted it to have a local disconnect as well, so we added that. The app is incredibly easy to use... I really like the fact that I can dial the amount of amps being used up or down from 40... although not sure why I would, other than to play with the app, lol. THe best part is the easy scheduling setup on the app, and the records of charging times and Kwh pulled. I have my charger set to charge between 11pm and 7 a.m. when power is the cheapest with my electric utility. This unit will charge the vehicle at a rate of about 20 "mph", at a rate of 8.6Kwh on the circuit I have. So yes, no matter how low my charge is, I can top it off at home overnight, and it's no longer an issue. And as of right now, there is a 30% Federal Tax credit on the charger and installation, so well worth it, especially when I think about the fact I'm not buying $4.50 premium gas any more.Nice 25ft long heavy duty cord, and I've positioned it in my garage so that it will reach outside under my closed garage door to charge a vehicle outside if needed. High quality parts, made in Spain, I noticed, well designed and constructed. Cool lighting changes colors depending upon unit status.

Easy to install, longest cable, compact, simple, reliable
I need a charging station to do one thing: charge my car reliably when I plug it in. Having a longer cable gives you more flexibility as to where you can park your car and still charge, so longer is better. A built in scheduler/timer is a nice to have, I have no interest in any other bells and whistles. The Wallbox has the longest available cable (25 ft, compared to the Chargepoint's 23 ft), is very easy to self install, is small and unobtrusive. And it costs about $100 less than fancier compeitors like the Chargepoint. It's worked reliably for the past three weeks since I installed it. It has wifi and bluetooth to enable you to use your phone app to monitor and set timers and see charging history. It sounds like the balancing feature that allows for charging multiple vehicles on the same circuit (with multiple wallboxes) might be nice future proofing, though I doubt I'll ever use that.A good low cost, simple, reliable charging station with the longest available cable.

Worked only for 14 months
This unit worked great....for 15 months. I simply set it's time to operate and it clicks on and off the designated times. I set mine for 1:00 Am and it shut off at 4:30 am. It fully charged my Rav 4 Prime in two hours. And, it charged it when our electrical rates were the cheapest. Everything was fine until one morning we noticed our car had only 4 miles charged. I looked at our wallbox unit and was stunned to find it had completely melted the wallbox plug into the 50 am receptacle! We immediately contacted a licensed electrician. After replacing the melted 50 amp receptacle and cleaning up the plug from our Wallbox unit, we turned on the fuse and plugged in our Wallbox. It turned on and a light blue light was showing the unit was again ready to charge our car. When we manually set the unit to charge our car, at the appointed moment the charger turned on the the light blue went to dark blue, indicating the unit was charging. But, within 10 seconds, the unit shut down. Then, 10 seconds later, it turned itself back on. Then, 10 seconds later it shut down. Then, ten seconds later it turned itself back on. This cycle just kept repeating itself several more times until we decided it was going to repeat itself continually. We then unattached the Wallbox charger from our car, then plugged in a 110 v charging cord from a different charging unit we have and it charged our car within at issue. After studying the situation, our Electrician was convinced that the Wallbox changing unit had caused the malfunction itself which caused electricity to back into the 50 amp receptacle and consequently melted the red, 110 V side of the 220 plug into the receptacle. This should not have happened to a unit that was professionally installed inside a garage. Fortunately, we do not believe this caused any damage to our car itself as it is taking a charge from another 110 volt wall unit we have installed. I have tried to contact the company but apparently they do not return phone calls. This charger has only lasted 14 months, operating only about half the time. One would think that this charger should last much longer. ...especially at the price of this unit. I would look elsewhere if you want a charging unit to last more than 14 months.
