I made a costume but the bottom hem just hung straight down. I used this horsehair (polyester) braid in the hem and it made quite a difference. First time user and very satisfied!

This was bought for my wife. I have no idea what for nor do I care. It arrived on time and she was happy. If she is happy, then so am I.

A little stiff for the 1” hem I needed for a satin gown. I thought it would be easier than turning the hem 1/4” twice. While it worked it could have been better.

Like old fashion horse-hair strips used in costumes. All of a sudden everyone has gone mad for it and want it in the hems of their couture styled gowns- floor and sleeves. Even want it on the edges of Organza fish-line ruffles.. Not a bad thing on the ruffles cause you can use a overstitch instead of a Overlock loop feeder and not have to pull the stitches over the fishing line. Of course- you need 1/2" or so for that. Don't try to cut it lengthwise - frays bad
