Careful -does not work 501dc
I wasted a couple of hours talking to HP only to find it does not work with the 501dn laser jet that is mentioned as compatible.

Great add on to printer
I want having some issues with the default print tray on my HP printer. I wanted to see if it was the printer or just the tray because I did not want to buy a new printer. Turns out adding this paper tray solved my problems with the default print tray. So now I just print to this tray and all is good with my printer. And adding this print tray raised my printer to the right height for me to pick up my print out without having to bend over and stress my back.

Works great
This was a good purchase. So far of all the ones we have purchased none have failed. This is very important to us.

Functions as expected
Works perfectly as intended. Paper source can be easily selected from within the driver, and auto select works beautifully if using multiple paper sizes. Installation could not be more simple. If you are the type of person that has trouble with things like paper selection, I would suggest sticking with a single drawer inkjet, or keep a 9 year old around to give you a hand.
