Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear foundation is a nice full coverage oil controlling foundation for every day. May not do well with dry skin types. I recommend using it minimally and not layering it much or it will seem like it’s sitting on the skin instead of blending in. I am shade 310 in Maybelline Fit Me liquid foundation and shade 856 Warm in Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear foundation is slightly fair and slightly neutral, I might try 1 shade up but shade 856 can work, it's just slightly light and more neutral than warm for my skin tone. I also wear Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation in shade 3W1 Tawny (my perfect shade match) in case that helps with color matching. I did not need very much product to achieve a full coverage look. I used the real techniques liquid foundation brush to apply and it turned out even and nice. Blended fine and no issues. So far I like it, I have oily skin and this is nice and matte. In comparison to 2025 skin care foundations that look just like skin, this reminds me more of 2016-2018 matte look instead. I like it because I prefer matte foundation and this is long lasting.

I wish I knew about this stuff a long time ago before spending my money in major department stores. Gives me a natural look, evens out my skin tone, covers dark spots, lightweight, ALL DAY into the evening wear. ITS AMAZING!! I’ve never been an everyday wearer of makeup but now at the age of 54 I find myself wearing this more and more. I’ve also received lots of compliments about my makeup looking so natural on me, so that boost my confidence too. Also has sunscreen protection, definitely an added bonus!!

Very good basic foundation. Color match was easy using the chart. I have green veins and olive tone but not tan. I use a vitamin c serum, sunscreen and then this on top and it ages very nicely throughout the day. I have oily skin summer and combination skin during winter. I’m starting this bottle January 2026

Cover girl has always been a good product although over the years Covergirl did away with the dependable cream makeup we always depended upon. The colors are not true to advertised colors and not true to human complexions. This one is very yellow and light and not as creamy and smooth as their older products..
