Love love love! This smells absolutely delicious and tastes even better. We found this at a local farmers market and keep reordering. The hints of cinnamon are perfect. We ended up trying many from this company, but this is our absolute favorite roast. Will be gifting this to many friends in the future! Great quality coffee.

Quality is great. Packaging is on par with all others. Company is top notch and the coffee is too. It is a strong coffee depending on how long you perc it in old school percolator pot. My issue is the flavor. It is just not one I personally like. It is smoky which normally I like but not this one. It is a bit different and not to my liking. It isn't bad just not one I would drink. I am not going to rate it less than 5 stars just for a taste that I don't prefer. That would be wrong and not an accurate way to rate.

Disappointed in the lack of smoke flavor. However, it is really good coffee, so, despite my better judgement, I'm still giving it 4 stars for flavor.

Well it is very very smoky like that wood. It tastes like masterpiece bbq chips, that masquite taste just without the sauce taste. Yea. Im going to try a few things, i might mix this with another coffee to just give my other coffee a hint of smokyness. On its own, its a bit too smoky for me. I like smoky italian coffees so i tried this, but its a different kind of smoke. I think they did a good job on this coffee still. I drink my coffee black, a bit of creamer may be what it needs. It also makes my coffee pot smell and taste smoky when i brew my regular coffee though. THats what made me think to mix it. I think i just like a tiny hint of smoke in my coffee. Few days gone by,, ive grown to dislike this kind of smoke in my coffee. I think someone else may like it.

I really like the coffee ! I get the whole bean and the smoke flavor is on point. I run a pit, and it reminds me of a good mellow smoke, really more or less like campfire coffee in a percolator. Which is what I use after I do a coarse grind on the beans. It’s steep at $19 a bag but worth it in my opinion…

I don't drink bourbon. But I love its aroma. With this coffee, I get to create a wonderful scent in my kitchen while enjoying a great coffee taste. I highly recommend these beans!

For all the pessimistic who only look at the one star reviews (like me), Well here's the truth. When I opened it, it didn't have that whiskey barrel smell that I love so much in coffee. It just smelled like regular old coffee but,,, then I brewed up a pot and DAMN! To my surprise, That is extremely good coffee with a perfect hint of whiskey taste. Amazing coffee. Will be buying more!!!
