The belt is of good quality, but it doesn't always prevent hernias. Ultimately, the patient had to undergo surgery.

I had a cervical spine issue which was affecting my abdominal muscles as well (core muscle pain when gets engaged) even doctors were not able to give solution for the abdominal pain. I on my own bought this abdominal belt and tried. I bought it on March 14 and used for 2.5 months now. My abdominal pain has been reduced 80% now.

It doesn't what it supposed to do but don't think this will cure it automatically, it just makes it less painful, so in the the only option is surgery because you didn't braced your core properly, I would suggest watching this guy on youtube for proper technique ( Squat university). So you can teach others how not to end up like this in first place.

I am suffering from umbilical hernia for last 3 years ...tried several brace belts... recently i bought the belt from braceability...inhave got much relief from pain and irritation....can do daily chores...the cushion helps a lot

This item is very good and comfortable. I like that it is not too wide. It is very comfortable. There are stays to keep it from rolling down and they work very well. It rolls down a little, bit not very much at all. I am a 38 waist. If you are any bigger, I would get a large. The Velcro part is a bit itchy where it doesn’t overlap, due to my waist size being right at the brink of small to large. I simply put a small piece on of cloth under that exposed Velcro area and it doesn’t itch. I feel like this protects and keeps my abdominal hernia from pushing out.

Worked well while waiting for my operation

I have tried a few different hernia belts after I developed an abdominal hernia post-surgery. This one is hands down the best. I am 5’3” and the smaller width is perfect - others dig into my ribs or slip position. The Velcro is amazing and the feel of the fabric is very comfortable. The edges never “cut in”. The additional pad to keep pressure on the hernia is comfortable as well and doesn’t bulge out. I can wear this all day comfortably with tops I couldn’t wear with other versions. Definitely going to be buying another one. I would love if they came in different colours (black, beige) but otherwise this is perfect.

I hadn't realized how uncomfortable I was until I wore this. I feel so much better and it's very comfortable to wear. Thin enough to wear under clothes. Not bulky at all. Edit: 1st week wearing this all day long at work, (bending ,stretching, lifting), so impressed! Very comfortable, I forget l even have it on! Makes me feel so much better. Great product. Very easy to put on.
