Absolutely love this nut milk bag! It is an essential tool in making my homemade almond milk so much easier. Very durable, perfect thickness, and does a thorough job filtering the pulp as I drain my almond milk. I highly recommend and would purchase again.

I purchased this bag to replace another I bought on Amazon, one which fell apart on the first use. I've used Ellie's bag a couple of times and it does a great job. The extra capacity makes it easy to strain my almond and coconut milk. The bag seems to be strong and well made, although time will tell. It's certainly easier to use this bag than it was to use the other methods of straining I tried. Give it a try! 12/24/2019: I've had this bag for over a year now, and am impressed with the quality. I use it just about every day, some days more than once, as I make juices and nut milk in my Vitamix blender. The bag gets wrung out and twisted tightly in order to extract the liquids, it's washed after every use in hot water, and when dry, folded and put into a drawer. I'd have thought that by now the bag would be showing signs of wear, or starting to come apart at the seams or degrade in some way, but that has not been the case. It is strong and continues to work as new. It has stained a little after all the use it's gotten, but that's not at all a concern. This nut bag is GREAT! 12/2/20: It's been two years of almost daily use, and the bag is still going strong. Nothing has diminished my appreciation for this quality product. 09/04/2025: The bag is still performing like new. It's hard to believe that this product has lasted so long with absolutely no problems or degradation of quality.

Back story: I bought it because my dog has allergies to a variety of things including grass/weeds, so her paws will itch consistently even with allergy medicine. I give her an oat milk bath once or twice a week (as needed) depending on the how badly she's itching. - - - - - - On to the review! 11/5/15 Update: Very easy to use, strains everything for our oat milk. I haven't made any other types of milk as of yet but I can also use this to strain things like rice water to keep for alternate uses. Note: This product, even in my Intelli-Mesh: Double-Layered Laundry Bag was not washing machine safe. The string that you use to seal the bag came completely unraveled on one side. It is one of those materials that you can put close to a lighter to seal off the ends, I would recommend doing this before deciding to launder in any way. The product still works, just now the tie off is super short and awkward looking. Cleaning is normally easy, but in this particular instance I couldn't get the oatmeal out no matter how much I tried to rinse it out. I guess in hindsight I could have taken a dish sponge to it, but I figured the washing machine would have done the trick. - - - - - - Oat milk recipe, its 1 Tbsp colloidal oatmeal (or just finely ground oatmeal) per 8 oz of water. You can re-dump the original oatmeal in for a second blend, it won't be as milky but still does the trick. Got dry itchy skin? Dump it in the bathtub for yourself and relax!

I am new to making nut milk. I made almond milk for the first time in a machine I bought that came with a little strainer. Little did I know it didn’t take all the pulp out. The next day I used it and realized how thick and gritty it was I knew I needed to strain it better. I didn’t have anything on hand except for my fine mesh coffee filter in my coffee pot. While it got the job done it took awhile and I went looking for something better. I found this and ended up straining what I still had left and this got even more out. I’m looking forward to my next batch of milk now knowing I will be able to use this and get a creamier pulp free milk. I also appreciate that it came with a little instruction book that had some recipes in it. The size, weight and color were good. It was easy to handwash and hang to dry.
