This was fine for a Halloween costume. Good size and thickness. The only thing I didn't like was that the inside is itchy and it rests on the forehead. But for 1 hour wearing it, it is fine. When I wore it to work, I pushed it up, so it was over my hair. Color is a true black and seems warm.

Good price, used it for a season pumpkin decorating contest. Very authentic looking, but be aware it is very lightweight. Worked well for us though and the price is right.

Quality okay. I'm a petite person, but this hat is smaller compared to other berets I have owned in the past. I think this would be a perfect fit for kids. It fits a little snug on me. I would prefer a hat that's a little larger.
