This pad makes staining the deck so much easier than using a brush and not as messy. The pad gives a nice even application and no dripping. it is great for using on fascia boards. too. We used an extension pole and didn't need a ladder!

I've tried a bunch of different methods for deck staining, and have finally found the one I like!

I really like it for staining my porch. Very easy to use. I have only used them for staining.

Holds enough product to evenly and quickly lay down a finish without having to spend a lot of time to drag out product over surface. Also, You can cover multiple boards making job go quickly. This is not a product you necessarily clean to use again. I've found using a new pad next application is best.

The pad needs to be replaced frequently because the backing peels off the holder. The pad itself is great especially for a deck. It gets in between the slats and then covers two boards at a time. But it loses its ability to stick to the frame after a short period. That was extremely annoying and disappointing since the pad itself works so well.

This works great and much easier for applying deck stain to a deck. I have the Mr. Longarm applicator to go along with it. I love that it velcro's to it and you can get into nooks of the deck boards with the side design which saves time. So much better than using a brush. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to stain outside steps or deck! Great item.

I use these as disposable since my stain is oil based. When done staining, if I am staining the next day, I wrap in several plastic bags and seal out air. Have used them for years. Good quality product.

The media could not be loaded. I've shown the head as well for those interested. No matter how hard I tightened my handle into the head, it would immediately loosen and the head would flop around even more than it does on its own. This pad actually held up really well and didnt get hung up on wood as others I have tried.I was dumb and didnt even think that this 12" head was too large for my standard 9" paint tray. I poured the stain for my deck in the tray (only size I had on hand) and found out too late to stop.
