Sun Bum Original SPF 30 Sunscreen Scalp and Hair Mist

I bought this for my little girls. They wear their hair up, are fair skinned, and are outside a lot in the summer. My package arrived within a day or two of purchase, with no issues. I was a little surprised with the size of the bottle, it is pretty small. HOWEVER, the spray that comes out is a nice fine mist that sprays out in a cone shape and covers a lot of area. It goes on clear, is not oily or greasy, and has a lovely slight coconut scent. My kids scalps have had no sunburn since I started using this, and zero irritation to the skin. The bottle has a little cover that comes in it that keeps the spray outlet clean and prevents accidental sprays. Will be repurchasing.

I use this to protect my scalp from the sun because my hair is platinum but it also protects my hair. Has a nice light fragrance and gives you some texture like a sea salt spray if you want to use it that way otherwise you can let it settle on flat hair and it stays like a light hairspray

I have oily hair that is also thinning due to weight loss. I have used this for a few years now, and it really is a game changer. With oily hair, I do have to wash this out after using, but not a deal breaker, normal life. With that being said, my hair does not look oily while it is in, but by the end of the day, I can tell it needs a wash. It is not heavy and I spray this if my hair is up in a ponytail or down, and have yet to have a sunburn on my scalp, which is what was happening before this product. Works in full sun and while swimming, never reapplied, and never a burn. A few spritz goes a long ways. It reminds me of like the spritz hair spray honestly. Good smelling, lightweight and a small bottle, but lasts for awhile.

Love this! I bought an extra of this to have in my bag in case of emergencies because I like it so much. I have fine hair, so does my toddler, I use this almost daily on both of our scalps whenever we are going out in the sun, sunburn on the scalp is awful and so painful, I had one little sunburn spot where I parted my hair and I vowed I would never let it happen again. This spray works super well and the atomizer actually distributes the product very nicely if you spray an appropriate distance from your scalp (I sprayed it too close one time and it just made my hair a little too oily for my liking, spraying further away fixed my problem though!). Even though this is not kids sun bum, it is super easy to use on kids too as I can grab my daughter quickly, spritz, and send her on her merry way without too much fuss. Remember to reapply if you go in the water!

I am fair-skinned with strawberry blonde hair, and this spray does a good job of protecting my scalp when I spend the day working in the sun. I make sure to spritz my part and my cowlick a little extra. The smell is nice; I don’t really notice it lasting. The only thing I don’t like is that it makes my hair greasy. You can see it by looking at my hair, and I definitely have to wash my hair at the end of the day. But it’s better than getting a sunburned scalp.

I originally bought this on vacation and loved it! I got a little sunburn on my scalp on vacation in Florida. (My scalp burned where the side part in my hair is...) So, the next time I there, I used this Scalp and Hair Mist and had no scalp burn at all! You simply spray it on! I used my fingers to kind of rub it thru a little, too. This spray doesn't weigh down my hair or make it greasy. I'm constantly swimming in the ocean and pool. The best part is that it stays on in the water! The part in my hair is more exposed when my hair is wet so this hair mist is a life-saver!

My little guy has fair skin and light hair. I’d use this on his scalp as he never keeps his hat on and he never got burned ! Easy to use, smells good and works !

It's sunscreen, no different the Sun Bum in a can, but in a smaller bottle, it looked the same on my daughter's head as if I just sprayed sunscreen from the regular can. To me the difference is one says scalp & hair mist the other sunscreen spray. And it's such a small bottle not worth the price too me, I'll just the bigger regular spray sunscreen for a few dollors more.
