Super nice size, screen, camera & is fast, only downside is the battery not as good as I expected.
Still exploring the options. 100m from my local 5G mast got 688Mbps down and 47Mbps up with 'Speed Test', including a, 'you have used over 3Gbit' warning in under 15 secs. I have a 100 down 20 up Zen Internet (via Openreach FTTP) and at 5 am I got 106 down and 22 up on WiFi. Just glad I have unlimited data.I have about 140 apps and Samsung has dumped me a load more, but I have not had time to delete the ones I do not want yet. Some look useful, a lot don't. Having 256Gb means there is no hurry. A lot of things, like the Ring doorbell, connect much faster than any other device (inc the Alexa Show). The battery is 33% larger than my old Moto G5 but the consumption rate is about the same. Probably because it is a new toy and much faster, I am using it much more. Have had no problems out and about. Luckily my daughter bought me a charging pad for my last birthday, which I can now use, so in the house, I just leave it on the kitchen/living room hatch I can hear it and have had no empty battery problems. I always plug it in in the car anyway.I wear hearing aids with blue tooth. It works far better than any other blue tooth device I have and I can hear notifications and ringing in my ears all over the house, even if I have no idea where the phone is. The idea of ringing the phone to find out where it is, just doesn't work. All told with the discounts and performance, I am very happy.

Brilliant. Take that iPhone.
Bought the white S21 in the Prime Day sale with the Samsung cash back offer. Upgraded from an LG G6 which was nearly 4 years old. This is a breath of fresh air.Lovely adaptive screen. Perfectly sized so not too big in a gents pocket. Camera is excellent. Am a total convert to wireless charging which is a nice thing to have. Battery life is very good, but not excellent. By turning on Dark Mode and putting apps to sleep, getting a whole day's worth of battery is easy, but for someone that is a medium to heavy user I usually have 20% left by around 8pm. Which isn't bad by any stretch. Fingerprint reader is excellent and this is one of the features that persuaded me to stick with Android over converting to iOS. Especially when you still have a facemask and the iPhone 12 and above only have fingerprint readers (I think). There is facial recognition with the S21 if that's your thing anyway. Like the look of the white version but was almost tempted by the purple model. It is also highly customisable, which seems daunting at first with all the various options, but a joy to use once all set up, especially the Bixby routines. There are arguably better value sub-£300 handsets out there, but Samsung have smashed this out of the park. If you can get it for around £515, which is what I paid after cashback, then I think you can begin to justify the outlay. Would highly recommend.

Love a good Samsung!
I love this phone. My previous phone was a S9+....which I dropped and shattered the screen but it served me well for a good few years so I thought I'd treat myself to a new one. After searching far and wide I settled on this little beauty! It's quick, colourful, easy to use, the camera is fantastic and the battery life is really good. It also doesn't take long to charge either. The only small annoyance is the fingerprint reader. I'm used to having it on the back of the phone but on this model it is on the screen and its a bit hit and miss until you get used to it! It will wind you up for a couple of days! Lol! The good thing about it is that you can have more than one fingerprint to unlock your phone! The other down side is there is no storage card. So if you take thousands of photos you will need to transfer to another device but really that's no biggie. It really is a great phone. I didn't want top of the range as I think paying over £1000 for something that will be pretty much obsolete in 6 months (if you're lucky) is a waste of money. This mid priced phone does everything you need it to do and more. It's also on a reasonable monthly payment plan through Amazon (12 months) so you don't have to pay out all that money at once.

Great smartphone with a couple of "buts"
Replaced my Samsung s8 with this one, so it's obviously been a big jump. So far, I really like the smartphone and I know it will be a great replacement for my 5 years old s8.However, there are a couple of notes that I must point out to potential buyers.- Battery life: a bit disappointed with the duration of the charge with this one. I suppose it's because of the enhanced screen refresh rate... But still seems very counterproductive to enhance something and not have the rest of the hardware march the enhanced features.- Colour: I went with the white model and was really disappointed in seeing that it was a "matte" finish. I suppose this boils down to personal preferences, however it personally feels "cheap" in terms of looks. No biggie though since I'll have a cover on it anyway.- Missing sensors: really bummed to see many of the great sensors that were on my s8 gone. Between these, I'll def miss the infrared sensor used to measure hearth rate on Samsung Health, which I often found very useful.- No headphones jack, no accessories: last but not least, it was very huge bummer to see how minimal was the content of the packaging. I know it's a course many brands are taking but since the prices are not being reduced accordingly as a costumer I find it very disappointing when I don't find earphones and charger in the box.On an ending positive note though, everything else is stellar. The camera is just flawless, the higher refresh rate of the screen makes everything seem so smooth, and all around using the device is a great experience.
