Cuts time in half
This product is awesome. It cuts your time in half, makes your workers less likely to be injured and is just a great assist lift device.

Worthless
The magnet does not lift anything with a rough surface. Will not pick up a manhole cover unless it’s smooth steel or iron. The arm broke the first time I used it. The tip broke off. You can’t use the pin further back on the arm cause the manhole lid hits the wheels. This thing could easily end up hurting you. This thing is worthless.

Worked a treat to lift standard and vaned cast iron lids
No complaints, lifted several manholes with patterned cast tops, i.e., not flat as they had a diamond print on them. Also, when inspecting 2x3 catch basins with vaned grates on top, we were able to line the magnet over three vane edges and it lifted right off. Definitely a back saver!
