Worked perfect for 2016 428i!!
Was a bit worried based on other reviews, but key arrived on time, was unlocked, correct ID49 chip, 434mhz frequency, good battery installed, and overall good quality fob. Programmed perfect for a 2016 BMW F32 428i FEM CA. Used an autel im508, xp400, & godiag gt100 breakout box.

Wrong FCC ID nor frequency
The advertised remote has FCC ID: NBGIDGNG1 & frequency: 434MHz. The remote i received has FCC ID: DHGEDGNG1 & 315MHz. The remote couldn't be programmed by either a local locksmith or BMW dealer. Don't waste your time with this wrong remote.

Nice looking key
While these keys came partially programmed you will still need a professional level programmer to make them work on your car. They are great keys for the price once programmed

Received the correct frequency and key programmed successfully
Only giving 4 stars because the unlock button isn't clickable unless your finger is in the corner.

Terrible
Absolutely terrible. Couldn't tell if it was working. The battery came in the unit with no tape or anything. Impossible to open and get the battery out without ruining it.

Wrong MHz, won’t work, BEWARE
BEWARE, the product they ship does not have the same FCC ID or MHz as shown on the website so it won’t work. And, even if it did you’ll need to pay a shop to program it.

Works great! Range is great! I never tried to program the key, I just performed a chip swap on my existing key fob! No issues so far, feel just like OEM! Amazing upgrade for my M2. Imaged is the chip and it's location on the OEM board you have to swap over! Very straight forward. Ensure you buy the correct key for the frequency your car utilises.

Unfortunately I bring this product to BMW to program it to my car as a spare key. BMW not able to do so using their dedicated technology for such things. I wasted my money on this one.

Doesn't work. Go to your dealer

The BMW dealership said they would not/could not program it or cut the internal key for use. Basically it was a waste of money.
