For years I have used a plate over a plate or plastic wrap when warming food in the microwave. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. I bought this item because it was priced well compared to other similar items. What I found out when I got it is that it can be expanded a couple of times and fits over bowls of various sizes as well as a plate. This was a great purchase.

I have to agree with the "negative" reviews. this gets hot, stained, and a bit on the stiff side.But I would still buy it again. It saves a lot of cleaning work. I always used a paper towel or plate or most of the time I would just let food splatter and deal with it later. But new mic proved harder to clean then the old one. So I got this. Now instead of it splattering upwards it comes down and the turntable plate is always a mess. Oh well. It works.

Though easy to use and easy to clean and a good height for taller bowls, I wish I'd known how the plastic material absorbs the smells of everything it covers. No amount of washing will get rid of it. Leaving it out of the microwave, on the counter helps reduce some of the odor. I'd rather keep my counters clear but not to bothersome. The accordion function is a bit stiff so we leave one open at all times either on the counter or in the microwave. The other is a backup cover.

The handle is pinched by two fingers. It is slippery, and can be hot to the touch. I placed a piece of barbed velcro to solve both issues.

This product was as promised. Price was right the height is excellent yes to easy to clean sturdyness and since it sits on the plate yes to easy to use

I like that these are tall enough to not have to touch the food while cooking. You get 2 for when you're cleaning one another is still available. Also when the second is not in use it easily stores in a drawer.

Good design with collapsible feature but it does come at a cost. These are sturdy and pretty easy to use

Not as tall or wide as I'd hoped, it doesn't cover a dinner plate fully, but it's better than nothing.
