I love this pineapple so much! It is so adorable, and I love the potential for learning emotions through play! The top of the pineapple comes off so all the pieces can store securely inside, which makes me super happy. The arms only fit in the arm holes on the side of the pineapple (or inside for storage). There are so many pieces for making different facial expressions on the front or back of the pineapple. You can get a little silly and combine pieces from different expressions as well. The pieces themselves are rather small. They’re proportioned perfectly for the pineapple, but they are definitely choking hazards if you have littles who like to put things in their mouths. The pieces are made from a rubbery feeling plastic. I like that they’re not made from a hard or brittle plastic. They seem like they will last for a long time. I do worry about some of the eyebrow pieces though. I hope a kiddo doesn’t decide to bite part of one off one day. You just never know with kids. But aside from teeth or scissors, I think these will hold up super well, and even biting the pieces would take a lot of effort to tear them. We are super excited about this toy and plan to add it to our at-home preschool curriculum! It would also be a great quiet toy for waiting rooms, airplanes, or church if your kiddo is good at keeping track of small pieces. You could also consider putting the pieces in a separate plastic container for a situation like this, something more flat like a sandwich-sized tupperware so kiddos can see all the pieces easier without dumping them out. Super great toy though! I would totally give it as a gift! It comes in a cute Learning Resources cardboard box as well with all the pieces in a plastic bag. Brooke

This was one of the best toys I've purchased for my son. He enjoys the incredible amount of options you have to make faces and creations, it's like a Mr. Potato Head, only x10! The bright colors of the various pieces made it easy to see against the equally bright base you attach them to. The plastic is very durable, he's dropped it so many times I've lost count and it's just as good as the day we got it. He loves this toy! One of the best gifts I could have come across! Worth the money and then some, you couldn't buy 5 Potato heads and have the same amount of accessories as this thing!

My daughter and I like this quite a bit, I do recommend it overall, and I think the positives are well stated here. Cute, lots of expressions, packs into itself, nice quality material... so I'll mention the meh parts. First, the graphic printout it includes with emotions shows some faces you can't make (eyes and other parts that look different). And I'm not convinced some of the emotions match the pictures. My daughter really wants to recreate them but can't! The arms never stay in. They just fall right out. We've stopped trying to use them. Some of the parts are hard to put in and take out, some fall out easily. Depends on the one. I wish the head topper could latch into place so it keeps everything inside. It would make it a viable toy to bring on trips or to the restaurant, but without that, it opens up and everything falls out. I have to keep it all in a plastic bag. Overall, a good toy and better than a lot of the junk on Amazon. But definitely falls short in some areas.

Bought this as a gift for my niece and she loves it. It’s a fun take on Mr. potato head. Very happy with the quality, exactly as expected.

I’ve been using this for speech therapy to help students practice identifying and then practicing emotions and facial expressions. They have a lot of fun with it!

This is a great emotional education resource. I am a therapist that uses this to facilitate emotional expression and reflection, and it has been helpful to use with child clients! I will use this for years for sure!

I bought this to help my 3-year-old learn and appropriately express emotions and feelings. She absolutely loves it, as do I. There are so many pieces, to which I'm usually averse because of cleanup and losing parts. Fortunately that hasn't been an issue, and in fact the variety/quantity is what makes this toy really special. Way better value than a certain tuber-headed one-trick charlatan. The pieces stow easily and quickly enough making playtime that much more fun. The only real concern here is the parts are a little small for those kids who like exploring the world through their mouth.

Learning resources non si smentisce mai. Qualità molto alta ed elevato valore educativo. Molto utile il supporto della carta esplicativa che io ho plastificato per poter lavorare sulle emozioni. Tutti gli accessori ed il ciuffo verde che sovrasta sono di un materiale gommoso molto piacevole al tatto. Attività utile anche a livello abilitativo educativo per lavorare sul linguaggio delle emozioni gradito dai più piccoli fino alla scuola primaria.

Soy psicóloga infantil y la he comprado para tener en consulta. Es uno de los juguetes que más suele llamar la atención a niños y a adolescentes. Super versátil, para trabajar mundo emocional de diferentes formas. Recomiendo.

Está piña de expresiónes es genial. Para lo que la utilizo que es para las actividades de terapia de lenguaje y ocupacional de mi hijo es muy útil y práctica es de muy buen material es genial que se puedan guardar todos sus accesorios dentro de la piña lo único que me hubiera gustado es que fueran de color negro y no anaranjados como se muestra en su guía incluida. Excelente producto!!!
