Wiz Khalifa's Weed Farm Coloring Book

whew busy month with it being my birthday and all, but I definitely brought this along on my little vacation so that I could relax. So in this coloring book, you’ll also be going to little vacations- each page is one sided and thick enough that you can use markers instead of colored pencils- and the drawings are of cities and holiday icons with weed plants sort of woven in next to them. It’s truly bizarre and kind of funny. For instance, the Valentines Day one has a heart box of chocolates with a weed plant growing out of it. Then there is a page or three for Christmas. There’s a gingerbread man holding a big weed plant. They have labels on them, I admit to not having any idea what they are- maybe they’re the abbreviations for the plant strains. Anyway, interesting! The fourth of july has the statue of liberty hugging a big weed plant.

The rap artist, Wiz Khalifa is originally from Pittsburg and known for writing the Steeler’s anthem, “Black and Yellow.” He currently lives in Los Angeles and claims to spend $10,000 a month on marijuana. He has his own brand, Khalifa Kush. So his coloring book opens with Khalifa asking, “Y’all ready to blaze and color in this kush?” You can have fun coloring (in or outside of the lines) pictures of Khalifa’s cars, or sites from his favorite places around the world in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, and Paris. Be sure to add color to his favorite holidays, Danksgiving and Wiz’s birthday. If you like to relax by coloring, or are a fan of Wiz Khalifa, or just want to get creative, this might be a fun book choice for you. With 129 pages of images, you will have lots of time to really blaze and color.

What a delightfully weird coloring book. As far as coloring books for adults go, this one is pretty good. The pages are thick enough that vigorous coloring with a crayon will not rip it and markers do not easily bleed through the page. It's got a nice variety of pages to color, and it's a pretty hefty book, so you're getting a good amount of coloring pages. I also very much appreciate that the patterns are decently sized - I have so much trouble coloring in small designs - it's nice to be able to color freely. My one complaint is that the pages aren't perforated and the book spine doesn't lie flat. I think that would make this a better coloring experience. Otherwise, very fun and weird.

Never did I ever think there would be a weed farm coloring book in my life time but oh my gosh, it's here and it's truly magical. The only thing surprising is that Wiz Khalifa came out with it before snoop dog, maybe i'm just old school. The book is full of HILARIOUS images that are easy to color and fun to look at. The book uses actual images of Khalifa's face making the drawings even more hilarious. It's super fun, the perfect gift for any stoner (or Wiz Khalifa) fan in your life. It is so helpful to get to color (hello destresser) and laugh. Highly recommend this book. Everyone needs a halloweed image for their collection ;)
