This tastes better than expected, which is appreciated. I ordered this after trying multiple other laxatives that quit working after a couple of uses. This worked after a couple hours. I didn't have cramping, pain, or any side effects. It was effective and easy to use. Do make sure you follow the directions on drinking a full gas of water with it. I didn't, and an hour after taking I drank water and then it worked. I think it needs water to get everything moving along.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia. My 6-year-old daughter has struggled with severe constipation and stool withholding for over three years due to sensory processing issues. Taste isn’t too hard to get down at all, which I appreciate. I have IBS and struggle with constipation. I’ve used stool softeners, laxative caplets, and laxative chews. Softeners and caplets do nothing to help. Laxative chews work, but are nauseating and give me a bad headache. The side effects of this weren’t as bad as the chews I have taken. I was still a little nauseous but nothing too bad to handle. This works like a charm. It kicked in within 10 minutes of me taking it. However, I am glad I had no plans for the day. I took this in the afternoon and was on the toilet every 30mins to an hour up until nighttime. Although I am happy for a good clean-out, is lasted a lot longer than expected.
