Jerkbait/Crankbait rod
It's a Dobyns Rod so you know you're buying a quality product. My go to rod for jerk and crank baits, very sensitive and has the power to really drive those trouble hooks home. If you're on the line about this rod, dive in head first, this rod is the real deal.

No damage in delivery
Seen a lot of bad reviews due to damage in delivery personally mine was perfect condition just needed a swim bait rod to get me started and this one so far looks amazing 👍🏻

Dobyns rods are superior!
My 7th Dobyns rod. Fury was great, Sierra even better. The champion is unbelievable! Quality supreme! I want to order another champion tonight but I cant seem to find the vendor who sold me this one at the great price I got! The review that said Dobyns is Chinese garbage does not know the tight quality control Gary Dobyns keeps on his rods. You won't find a better rod under 500 dollars.

Its good not great.
Good not Great. I think I'll stick with St. Croix. Sensitivity is ok but for the price he St. Croix Avid is a better rod in my opinion.

The feel, strength, and casting ability
I love the sensitivity of the rod. When I hooked into a 7lb bass I noticed the great feel and strength of the rod. Also this rod weighs nothing, it is so so light yet strong and sensitive. I also have really noticed the ease of long casts and the ability to put your lure right where you want. These rods are built for excellence!!! There is one thing I would maybe fix with the 7’-3” Champion XP rod I bought and that would be to allow a little more room for the cleats of my reel to fit a little more thorough. Because mine don’t seem to fit all the way in, but it does hold so far. Other than that you can’t go wrong with the purchase of this rod!!!! Pure Excellence!!!!

Love these rods!!!!
These rods are very sensitive when using lures but more important to me is the “Action”. The way these rods bend when catching fish is second to none. I’ve fished for over thirty years I have several g loomis rods (which I like) and I like these Dobyn’s rods better.

Fantastic rod!
Fantastic rod!! Very forgiving on fish hooked with treble hook baits; especially crankbaits. I boated a couple of fish last weekend that were barely hooked, which I feel quite sure would have shaked loose with a less forgiving rod. The parabolic bend of the rod really launched lightweight cranks too. Love the rod!! Price was good and the seller was great. Very fast shipping
