Needed this to amend my soil for my blueberries and it was very easy to work with!

Ok ordered couple bags of this acidifier. Jobes is a well knows brand for fertilizers and things so a trust worthy company when it comes to plants. My complaint and why one star is off? Well quality control of the bag itself. It looks like the bag wasn't sealed quite correctly, shifted about an inch over, so the one end had the edge stick out once inch farther, and the other side one inch shorter leaving the bag open on that side about an inch. If you know what this acidifier looks like is very tiny round flat particles. basically some of it was out of the bag and in the box. I guess that's what you get when everything is automated, there is no quality control anymore. If it was packed by hand someone should have caught this. It's not worth sending back, but i'm sure i'm out a cup of the material. Anyways, if you need to lower ph (acid) then use this, i think a few blue flowers and blue berries need this to grow in high ph areas like Los Angeles.

takes 3-4 months to actually work. so I'm guessing at a rating.

used this product to acidify a very high alkaline soil...will test PH next spring. Easy to use product.
