When I first got this product, I was a bit skeptical, but let me tell you, it's amazing. I was skeptical because it seems to apply kind of dry, like there was not enough product on the applicator compared to most liquid lipsticks. I wondered if I got a dried-out product. But no, that's just the way it is. It takes a few dips to really get good coverage. But when you do...! It's so beautiful. The color is VIBRANT and pops, the product pics are accurate. I've been looking for a shiny purple lipstick that really screams, and this is the one. I put all lipsticks through the same test, which is applying them before an intensive hour of heavy aerobics. This tests their waterproofness as well as their tendency to dry lips. I lick my lips a lot when I work out, and any lipstick that dries the lips as all ends up chapping me. Well, this one passed with flying colors. At the end of the workout, my lips did not feel dry, and the shine was still there, the color still vibrant almost as if it had just been applied. I am in love with this product. I got two colors for now, and I will be getting more FOR SURE!

It feels smooth going on, not sticky at all, dries down beautifully, and stays vibrant for hours without losing its intensity. If you’re looking for a statement lip that turns heads and holds its ground, this one delivers in every way. Definitely worth its money. This picture I put on 2 layers of lipstick, without anything under the layers. Imagine using primer underneath and using lipliner! Stunning

this lipstick was yet another disappointment--it wasn't translucent, metallic, "bright," or "shimmery," as promised, and wasn't even opaque, as pictured. for $18+ it should have been way more beautiful than it was--or at least closer to the color and texture than the one sent. so disappointing--this has happened so many times, it's why I should think twice about ever buying lipstick online again. I should really know better by now. I loved the color in the picture, however, and only wish I'd gotten that one instead--maybe someday I will. I can't help but suspect it was a bait and switch, not just visually enhanced. usually, I keep or pitch disappointing cosmetics, but this time, because of the price, I'm returning it. I do not recommend this lipstick: caveat emptor.

I am 56 and I ordered this because it looked very pretty in the picture. I was worried it would end up being- not flattering for a woman my age, but this is BEAUTIFUL. I love it. It goes on velvety and smooth and has a matte appearance. It does have a metallic quality- but in a very nice way. Not sure of the longevity, but I have never used any lip product that I do not have to re-apply frequently, so that is not an issue with this. I have pale skin and red hair and this chewy apricot color is really great. This is now my go-to lip color.
