These will work but here is a tip. Try to go two sizes larger than you would normally go. Sm, you need Large. I normally get medium but for this, XL is the minimum otherwise they cut into my skin and restrict circulation. I only use this type in emergencies when everything else is either in the wash or it has worn out and I am waiting on a new delivery. If you wear joggers/Runners, this would be comfortable and you can wear socks over them unlike some of the heavier types. So, just be aware of the size problems. I come across the problem a lot when travelling. Asia and Sth America espescially. Populations here are generally much smaller. Adults are around the same size as a European child. And if you wear something too tight, it will cause thrombosis or even compartment syndrome so be careful with sizing and aim two sizes up. If you have big feet with a LOT of swelling.. this will not work for you.

I love these socks! I purchased these socks along with another one from a different company and these definitely worked better for me. I purchased because I broke my ankle about 1 1/2 years ago pretty badly and it feels like it has never really healed and it constantly hurts. I have trouble doing simple daily things like dishes without my ankle hurting which then also triggers pain in my lower back which I also injured. When I put this sock on I could feel immediate support without my foot, ankle and calf feeling strangled. I have tried a few other compression socks, neoprene braces, ankle braces and even the expensive one from the ortho and they just have not been realistic for daily living. Most either cut off my circulation or you cannot get a shoe on with them so I also reverted back to an Ace bandage but it bunches once you put a sock on. With these, my sock just glided right over it. The reasons I like: they are thin and smooth allowing socks to go on easily, they are longer at bottom and covers entire or almost all of the bottom of foot depending on your size- I am 7 1/2 Womens (others started coverage in middle of my foot which caused discomfort once my sock & shoe was on), and they are not too long and coverage stops just beyond ankle while others went way up my calf & with most compression socks unless you are very slim they really cut into you, these do not. FYI, I am 5'3", 195 lbs, and have thick calves and got the L/XL so if you have had issues with others cutting off your circulation you should try these. I need to get a few more pair!!

I was finding no relief for my pain until I got these. They are easy to put on. Feel so good on my foot. My condition has just continued to get better as I’ve worn them.
