This starter worked great and I am now successfully baking whole-wheat and einkorn sourdough bread and sourdough pizza. It took about a week to get active because my kitchen is on the cool side (18C). When I saw it was slow I resolved by placing a bottle of hot water in the same cupboard of the starter and keeping a towel around the starter itself to keep it warm. Great product!

I bought this, followed the instructions, and it didn't work.. Pretty disappointed.

Sadly disappointed in my two orders, usually this company is amazing and their products excellent, kham yeast is a fermenters foe, as a long time fermenter I can say none of my other ferments at the same period went to kham, twice my two separately ordered starters got to 3. Days in : a good start and BAM...went to the yeast.... could have been my flour, could have been anything but I’m without sourdough. Can’t give it more than 2- 4stars...it started beautifully, grew well but alas, I’m without sourdough from this strain. Just going to try my own and hope for the best.

Very good product. Follow instructions and will make extremely flavourful bread. Highly recommend.
