Very thin and easy to mould but they are hard drying so feel a little tight on the teeth depending on how you set them. Good news is that you can remould again in hot water.

Had three of these from this brand over the years. Yes it’s solid when it hardens which some people won’t like but it’s fine for me.

Ich habe mir die SOVA Aero Aufbissschiene gekauft, weil ich nachts häufig mit Zähneknirschen (Bruxismus) zu kämpfen hatte. Morgens tat der Kiefer weh, und manchmal hatte ich sogar Kopfschmerzen. Nach mehreren Wochen Nutzung kann ich sagen: Diese Schiene ist eine der besten, die ich bisher ausprobiert habe! 👏 📦 Erster Eindruck & Lieferumfang Die Schiene kommt in einer hygienischen Verpackung und inklusive praktischem Aufbewahrungsetui, was super ist, um sie sauber zu verstauen. Der erste Eindruck: Sehr dünn (nur 1,6 mm), aber trotzdem stabil. Kein Vergleich zu den klobigen Modellen aus der Apotheke. 💪 ✅ Enthalten: 1x SOVA Aero Schiene 1x Etui 🧡 Anleitung (deutlich und leicht verständlich) Das Material wirkt hochwertig, glatt und geruchsneutral – kein billiger Plastikgeschmack! 😅 🔥 Anpassung & Sitzkomfort Die Schiene lässt sich mehrfach (bis zu 20 Mal!) anpassen – und das ist ein echter Vorteil. Einfach in heißes Wasser legen, bis sie weich wird, kurz abkühlen lassen und dann im Mund formen. Ich war positiv überrascht, wie präzise sie sich an die Zahnform anpasst. 💡 Tipp: Beim ersten Mal ruhig etwas Geduld haben – wer sie zu früh formt, muss vielleicht noch einmal nachjustieren (geht ja problemlos). Nach dem Anpassen sitzt sie eng, aber bequem – kein Wackeln, kein Druckgefühl. Man kann damit sogar sprechen und atmen, ohne dass sie stört. 🌙 🛌 Tragegefühl & Wirkung ✅ Sehr angenehm zu tragen – ich merke sie nach ein paar Minuten kaum noch. ✅ Kein Trockenheitsgefühl oder unangenehmes Rutschen über Nacht. ✅ Nach ein paar Nächten: Deutlich weniger Verspannungen und kein Aufbeißen mehr! 😴 ✅ Die dünne Bauweise ist perfekt für Menschen, die keine „Kaugummiklotz-Schiene“ mögen. Selbst nach mehreren Wochen Nutzung bleibt sie stabil und formtreu. Not great to be honest. Very small and hard to get a good fit. Would return but due to hygienic reasons

I have been using this mouthguard since November 2018. The same guard! I have reshaped it at least 6 times mostly due to dental work changed the fit. I have used it on the bottom as well as the top. It is the most amazing guard I have ever had. I grind my teeth terribly and had use MANY different types from over the counter to the dentist made. I bite through every one eventually. The SOVA guard has been the exception. It shows wear but in no means is it worn out. I love the low profile fit. It doesn’t cause gums to recede, my mouth to look like a boxer with a mouthpiece, and I can talk without sounding strange. It’s so comfortable I sometimes forget I have it on. Other guards I have used get very nasty over time despite cleaning after every use. They even get moldy even if I have air dried or used hair dryer without heat. The SOVA has discolored but another nice feature is that the guard has holes which I think helps to dry. I would definitely say the downside to this guard is it is very challenging compared to others guards when it comes to fitting it. Most guards are already shaped whereas the SOVA is completely flat to start and that makes it challenging but not impossible to fit. You just have to be patient and relax it will mold if you take your time. I do caution to NOT use excessive “suction” when molding as the fit can become too tight and very uncomfortable. Always remember you can soften in hot water to improve the fit. I buy items and consider the customer reviews before purchasing. This is something I felt very strongly about reviewing as I have spent a lot of money over the years, sometimes over $100 for a guard made by my dentist. This by far exceeds anything I have ever used it is exceptional quality at an unbeatable price. I hope others will have the same experience!
