Polly Pocket Playset, Travel Toy with 2 Micro Dolls, Toy Car & Surprise Accessories, Saturn Space Explorer Compact

nice for playing but be aware not for very small kids as the items are tiny

My kid really liked this for her 7th birthday. There are small pieces so not the best for going in the car. But it does latch up like a little handbag shaped like a planet so decision is yours. It is around the size of my hand so roughly 6-7" across (very approximate and going by memory check product specs / ask manufacturer if you need more info).

First of all this space polly pocket toy would be PERFECT for space lovers! The assories it comes with are of course polly pocket doll and another doll and i forgot her name sorry , an green CUTE and FRIENDLY alien figure , a space car AND THE SPACE SHIP CAN POP OUT OF THE POLLY POCKET TOY AND THEY DID NOT SAY THIS ON AMAZON WICH IS A NICE SUPPRISE :) and last of all it came with a "polly stick" sticker sheet , basically you stick the sticker on the toy or were ever and you put one of the dolls on top of the sticker and the doll sticks , you can move the item the sticker is on upside-down and the doll still stays on , most of the time this works! There is a lot of things in the toy that you can open up , the right rocket that moves up and down, spin the star around and the planets move, the crystals pop up and down, the space station - house can open up, the flag can move up and the space ship can open up AND can pop out of the whole toy 😀! The polly pocket dolls CAN fit in the space mobil- car! Overall this toy is perfect for space lovers so go for it, buy it! After kicking myself for getting rid of all my Polly Pockets as a pre-teen, I started slowly building back a collection of the ones I had as a kid. My daughters (ages 8 and 5) have loved playing with them. When Polly Pocket compacts came back in recent years, I wasn’t too interested. They looked more like the simple ones you might get in a Happy Meal back in the ‘90s. But then I saw this set, along with the animal themed ones (pig, llama, corgi, etc). They finally seemed to resemble the older compacts and I just had to get them! These new compacts can’t compare to the quality of vintage ones. And the tiny details aren’t all there. I think this mostly has to do with the fact that Polly isn’t the same scale as she used to be. Polly is bigger now, which means her surroundings have to be bigger, which means not as much “house” inside a tiny compact. What I loved about Polly Pockets was the tiny details, the precious designs, and just how much could fit into such a tiny space. You don’t get that as much with these newer compacts, but it’s getting closer. I absolutely love this particular compact. The little alien steals the show! The space ship is removable and it’s just so fun to fly the alien around. My girls love it. It was interesting to see a rubbery Polly. But the Polly Stick feature is innovative and definitely works. One thing that has been improved upon is that the compact actually stands up on its own! I could, however, do without the wrist strap. It has a tendency to get in the way of play. But my girls do enjoy carrying it around with the strap. You can take it off if you want though with a little work. In my attached photos you will see a comparison between this new space themed Polly and a 90s Slumber Party set. You can see the difference between scale and detail. I also included a photo of a vintage Polly, the Polly you get with this set, and the Polly you get with the new Pig Farm compact. All in all, I’m super happy to have a new Polly Pocket! I would definitely buy again and recommend it to any Polly fan or as a gift to any kid!

Tolles Polly Pocket! Gefällt meiner 6 jährigen Tochter sehr gut. Besonders, dass man das kleine UFO auch rausnehmen und damit spielen kann. Schön finde ich auch den kleinen Roboter als Ergänzung zu den Figuren. Schönes Spielzeug, perfekt für unterwegs. Passt in jede Handtasche und das Kind kann sich überall beschäftigen wo man mal warten muss (beim Arzt z.b.) ohne, dass immer irgendwelche Handyspiele gespielt werden.
