I am taking this as an antioxidant. I feel like my skin has improved. We'll see how it continues.

I have Dupuytren's contracture, which is an inability to complete straighten one of my fingers and bend it back so it's in line with the other fingers of the hand. It was the result of a botched hand surgery, and the surgeon misdiagnosed the condition, as well. My ENDOCRINOLOGIST recommended I take 600 mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid/day, which is an over-the-counter supplement. I started taking it over a year ago, and my Dupuytren's is not nearly as bad. I like Bluebonnet brand supplements, even though they're sometimes more expensive than other brands. It's worth it. The quality is high, and they're Kosher/vegan. And made in Texas!! And Bluebonnet makes it in the 600 mg dosage I need, so I don't have to take-- or pay for-- more than one tablet. Whole Foods used to carry this product, but they discontinued it, so I now get it on Amazon.
