Excellent product. Product does exact as described. Mine runs 3 1080p 60Hz displays with any flickering or issue. Comes with diff electricity plugs for American/European standards. I would recommend it to a buddy!

I have a bunch of older 1280x1024 LCD monitors around the house (from long dead PCs), and thought it would be useful to add a third monitor to my MacMini to display email on during the day. This device seemed like a good way to do it, and I wanted to get a box that was based upon DisplayLink hardware. It came today. I installed the hardware (three steps: USB cable into box, VGA adapter onto box, and VGA cable to monitor). I then downloaded the driver for it from the DisplayLink website. A quick reboot for the driver, and here on Mountain Lion it's working perfectly. Pros: * Simple installation (on the Mac, at least). * Complete product (so long as you have a cable to run to your monitor). * I'm running it though a USB hub, so it isn't taking a USB connection on the computer itself. * Works as described Cons: * Not the very best at displaying video -- it gets a bit laggy and the CPU utilization starts to run up. Not sure if it would go faster if I hooked it up directly to the computer, but I doubt it would improve the CPU consumption. But that's OK, I have two other monitors for video. * It is USB 2 only -- a more expensive USB 3 device might be better (except my computer only has USB 2 ports, so that's moot for me). * My wife may think I'm insane if I get another one of these and go for a 4 monitor set up like I'm starting to think about now..

It works well with Linux and Windows. If you're using Linux, you can load 4 hard drives, and partion them for multiple OSs.
