Q: does the stamp on the bottom say England or Made in England?

Since 1996, all Wedgwood,RoyalDoulton, Waterford,Royal Albert stopped manufacturing them in the UK and started outsourcing them in Asia. They made this public, they never deceived people. Its less frail, much bigger in size than the vintage ones. I have been an avid collector and most of my pieces has stamped and were made in england. WWRD is now owned by Fiskars, a finnish company. Wedgwood have very few rare and collectible places still made in England, but they are highly priced. Hope this helps! :)

Q: Is the background blue or green?

The one that I got is light green, but I think it also comes in blue. It's not as green as it looks In the picture, in fact it is almost blue. But it's very beautiful. I think the blue one is actually brighter.

I have aqua accents in my kitchen and it blends right in. I would say it is a pale aqua green. They are beautiful. Love them.
