Good Stuff !
I bought this primer in white only because I intended to paint pearlized white over it as my base coat and that is semi transparent. I think I will get some gray and black as well along the way. Anyway, the long and short of it is I really like this primer. I've used it on plastic and on wood so far with good results. I do find I need to thin it a bit to be able to layer the paint and build it up as I want it vs blasting on one thick coat. I thinned it with my own thinner I make up, I cut the primer maybe 15-20% or so and it sprays out of my Badger 200 with a medium nozzle very smoothly. It will spray straight from the bottle with the right needle and air pressure though and self levels. I lightly scuff plastic parts before priming for added adhesion as a safety net fwiw. I've edited this review now to five stars because this is now my go to primer.. I have now sprayed even lacquer paints over it with no issue . I've added craft paints to it to tint it slightly and that worked fine too. Because of finding I can tint it I haven't bought the other colors yet but I'm here to buy it in black and figured I would update my review while here.

Primer dalle ottime qualità
Prodotto di facile applicazione, ottima resa ad aerografo, buona copertura soprattutto prima di utilizzare il bianco o altri colori chiari, finitura liscia senza imperfezioni.

Finally a decent primer
I use this in my airbrush to prime my resin pieces before painting. Does not need to be thinned, quick drying and lays flat. Best of all it is sandable to a very smooth finish.

Nice, even primer.
I’ve been painting scale kits and wargaming miniatures for a long time but I never got around to buying an airbrush primer until now. Very happy with the result from this one. I didn’t need more than a drop of thinner to improve the flow and I lost none of the detail, even on very tiny photoetched parts like the radars and depth charge racks on this 1/700 Fletcher. I wish I’d switched to this ages ago and all my models going forward will be primed this way—no more rattlecans for me!

Bad experience the first time, but a different bottle was much better!
EDIT: I must have gotten a bad batch the first time, I tried this primer again and had a much better experience. This time it sprays smooth, doesn’t clog my airbrush, and does a nice job self-leveling. So I’m updating this review. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Was very disappointed with this primer. I followed the instructions, spraying it unthinned at about 25-30 psi. I ended up with a very rough, powdery finish (not self-leveling at all), and the airbrush clogged and splattered large chunks. Cleaning the airbrush was very difficult and time consuming. I tried thinning it with a little water, and that helped some, but there were still the large chunks coming out of the airbrush, and the finish was very inconsistent— some areas were smooth but others were rough like sandpaper. Fortunately, this primer sanded very nicely, and it’s very tough when dry, so I at least was able to salvage the part. I’ve read lots of people rave about this product, so maybe I got a bad bottle, but I’m going back to my Tamiya white primer.
