The film is super sticky and very easy to use. its made of acrylic which is also flexible, and can be cut with ease with a pair of large home scissors. If you cut with a bit of care to have enough extra on all the edges it sticks well. Just keep a few other things in mind while using: 1. Dust, clean and dry the light casing where you plan to stick the film. 2. If you plan on using it on a curved surface prepare it for the curve, by gently curving in the direction you want it to curve. Dont use too much pressure or try to fold it, the acryllic will break; 3. use a felt pen to trace the outline (including the extra bits for sticking it), so that cutting is easier. Plus use a marker that you can wipe off later :P Entire operation took only 15 minutes, and leaves the light protected from water and air.
