Burt's Bees 100% Natural Moisturizing Lipstick, Russet River, 1 Tube

I adore this lipstick!!!! Granted, I wear bold and red lipcolor on a frequent basis, so I am comparing to other bold reds, but this Russet River color is more muted, wearable, everyday red. And, it might not even qualify as an actual red on all lips. It looks like a straight wine red in the image but in person it has more of a brown-red/brown-wine color to it. It's very versatile and can be sheered out or built up to bold. I think it would qualify as red on most lips, but if you are looking for a classic Hollywood red or fire engine red, you'll want another color. This one is amazing for every day, I think it would be perfect for fall, and it also reads a little classic 90s with that brown undertone. I would also suggest this red for those who aren't sure about wearing red and want something less vibrant but still bold and in that red family. It's probably my new favorite lipstick for the moment! I love browns and reds and this is the perfect marriage of the two. It's also extremely hydrating and comfortable on the lips. I LOVE THIS FORMULA, though I have to admit it's not transfer resistant, but it still doesn't move around a lot and it does have a great wear time. These are sooooooooooo comfortable on the lips. I look forward to buying more! I also own the Blush Basin, and I think you should pass on that one. It's a little patchy and straight up peach. Still comfortable, but a disappointing color. MakeupWearables blog has an excellent blog entry of swatches (Amazon doesn't allow me to link you to them, so Google) and I think her images are accurate. Also, the smell sort of reminds me of play-dough (in a good way---didn't we all have friend who ATE play-dough? Don't do that!!! But this scent is a happy memory.)

I’m extremely happy with this lipstick! The color is vibrant, smooth, and looks exactly like the photos. It glides on easily, feels comfortable on the lips, and doesn’t dry them out.

Nice color. Very smooth on. It ended up little on the pink side of red but love the feel once on the lips. Size seems to be good and well worth the price.

I bought 4 of these lipsticks (Brimming Berry, Juniper Water, Suede Splash, and Russet River) after watching some reviews on YouTube. I was a little hesitant because of the price ($7 and up) but after purchasing them I can honestly say they are well worth it. They are super moisturizing without feeling sticky or heavy on your lips, the pigmentation is excellent, and the wear of the lipstick holds up fairly well. One thing I did notice was that if I didn't eat or drink for a period of time the darker lipsticks left a faint stain, but it was very pretty, almost natural looking. Like some of the reviews say, there is a sort of smell to them, but to be honest it's nothing different than any other lipstick I've bought (high end and drug store have this smell too). Reason behind 4.5 stars: My only complaint is that when I opened Suede Splash it looked like someone had already used it. Amazon Customer Service handled everything very easily (I just returned it for the exchange of a new one and will be receiving it shortly). If you're on the fence about these lipsticks I would say go for it! They won't let you down.

Need to replace this tube. And I’ll replace it with the same one because it stays on and moisturizers. Doesn’t have that chalky feel.

This is a wonderful lipstick, beautiful color. However, the lipstick casing is super-sticky from a label attached to it when it arrived. I tried removing the residual adhesive with alcohol and nail polish remover and nothing takes it off! So, I have this nice lipstick with a sticky mess on the case which picks up lint and dust. The product is great, but the sender should've noticed this sticky label before sending.

The colour is beautiful. I would say more pigmented than sheer. I have very dry lips and most lipsticks and even some lipbalms dry them out: I was hoping this might be different but it results in the same crackly lips as the others sadly. If you have normal not too dry lips then this might be totally fine for you! But not the HG I was hoping for. The other disadvantage is that it slides eeeverywhere, so it is difficult for it not to transfer/get it on other areas of your face. I've never had that problem with any other lipstick so it's not just a skill issue. You probably will need lip liner. But the glossy effect is very pretty.

I used to buy Clinique but this is just as good and not as expensive. Hard to find in stores now though.

Lily Lake ist ein schöner Rosa-Ton der schon fast ins Pinke geht. Ich würde sagen es ist ein kühler Farbton. Dezent genug um alltagstauglich zu sein. Die Pflegewirkung ist auch gut, meine Lippen trocknen nicht aus und fühlen sich damit wohl. Natürlich hält er nicht ewig, aber für Naturkosmetik schon erstaunlich lange, ich muss nur nach dem Essen etwas nachlegen. Die Inhaltsstoffe sind auch in Ordnung (nach aktuellem Stand), auf jeden Fall besser als ein herkömmlicher Lippenstift. Ich bin rundum zufrieden.

I love it, just not happy with the shade, too pale, which is my fault anyway.. Also BBs shimmers are great and can't change brand anymore.

Didn’t receive the product is good condition. The lipstick was cracked.
