This looks like what i'm searching for except it contains glycerin. such a negative for teeth, can't you use something else?

You might want to do more research on that. According to the information I have found glycerin is beneficial for your mouth.

How does this protect teeth without floride?

The real protection of your teeth comes from having food either on your plate or in your belly not in between... meaning your mouth. People need to learn the importance of and how to clean their teeth after eating. 1. Rinsing and spitting 10 to 15 times after a meal is the first step and removes most large pieces of food left behind and takes about a minute or two in total. 2. Flossing needs to happen everyday preferably with your last cleaning of the day before bed. 3. A water pic is another good choice in addition to flossing. 4. Metal tools similar to what a dentist uses to scrape teeth are an excellent next step and surprisingly inexpensive as well as the single most effective way to remove plaque. Hence why it is the first tool the dentist reaches for. Calcium deposits on teeth from saliva can be removed well this way too. 5. Lastly a high quality mechanical tooth brush. I can absolutely guarantee if you do the above steps everyday along with a healthy diet you will have extremely great teeth. My 11 and 12 year old are living proof and perform all the above step everyday save for the metal tools which they use approximately once or twice a month my son more than my daughter. Both had and have braces currently but just remove the food after eating as opposed to letting it sit in the warm wet mouth where it rots and therefore rots what’s next to it, namely teeth. Both have never had a cavity or fluoride and use only fluoride free toothpaste. I perform all above steps everyday myself too except for the water pic.

Any version of this line that does not contain silica? Silica is quite abrasive on sensitive teeth.

This stuff is amazing. Lasts a long time. I was initially drawn to it because it doesn’t contain fluoride. My dentist recommended it. It’s pricey but since it’s a quality product and lasts forever, it’s justified. If you’re looking for a quality toothpaste without fluoride and nasty ingredients that tastes good, look no further!

I was introduced to Lumineux Oral Essentials, a naturally derived, non-toxic, free of SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) toothpaste by my Periodontist, DMD who had received very positive feedback from other patients that have sensitive gums/teeth like me. I have tried many, many products for my condition, but this is the first time I saw timely and tangible results. I switched to natural toothpaste and mouthwash (without fluoride, sugar, etc) to help my receding gums because I read that you can re-mineralize your enamel and stimulate gum growth. Nothing I found (Tom's, charcoal, etc) really helped so I made my own (toothpaste and mouthwash) and hated them! Then when I found this brandI rejoiced because they have everything in them that I want, they taste great, and ACTUALLY WORK!!! After 1 tube I ate something cold and for once didn't have sensitivity. So I've reordered and am sticking with it. I also use the mouthwash 2x/day and really try not to eat or drink anything after. Happy that somebody finally made a product with salts, aloe and essential oils - what our teeth really need!
