Rich details. Good coloring. Nice weight to it heavy enough but not overly so. If other pieces by this brand are of the same quality, I would recommend them.

FIRST ONE is "VEILED VIRGIN BUST", originally carved in Rome by Italian sculptor Giovanni Strazza in 1850s, depicting VEILED VIRGIN MARY. It was TRANSPORTED to ISLAND OF NEWFOUNDLAND British colony in 1856. Today, Newfoundland is the province of Canada since 1949. 2. 2ND POPULAR VEILED ONE is an English based, Italian artist RAFFAELLE MONTI’S FULL-BODY SITTING "VEILED VESTAL" in 1847. It is a REPRESENTATION OF VESTAL VIRGIN, the PRIESTESS OF ROMAN GODDESS VESTA, the virgin GODDESS OF HEARTH, HOME, and FAMILY in Roman religion. THE ONE I BOUGHT ON AMAZON IS LIKELY OF BEING THIS (the face part). 3. THE 3RD POPULAR VEILED FACE IS "VEILED REBECCA / VEILED BRIDE" by Italian sculptor GIOVANNI BENZONI in 1863. It DEPICTS BIBLICAL FIGURE of REBECCA, STANDING and placed on a marble pedestal. One of the Rebecca's replica is at Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad.
