Victorian Marine Antique Floor Standing Brass Telescope Navy Adjustable Vintage Home Decor

I bought it for a “decor piece” and am really happy with the quality and appearance. We have a puppy and a 10 year old boy….so it has gotten bumped into a couple of times and has yet to fall over and nothing has broken on it. It’s a solid (thank goodness, lol) and pretty piece!

The stand is too short to use standing up!

Would be wonderful if it wasn’t falling apart all the time.

A little hard to use.

I will view it personally in a few weeks.

Since I am using it for Decorative Purposes I was not too concerned with the Magnification. But if you are looking for a Telescope that you will be able to see objects far away this is not it. It is made well and priced fairly.

Received item with bent leg and had to adjust and the telescope itself is poor quality with only being able to adjust the smaller lower lens. Seems there is something covering the larger one caught on inside lens.

Wasn't expecting much from this telescope, more of a decoration beside my 8SE, but it has a fairly decent zoom range, clear optics and adjustable focus - I was pleasantly surprised. Can see my neighbours swim in their pool during the day quite well, and it's small enough as to not be conspicuous!

By the packaging it looked as if this item was a returned item from a previous buyer and was sent to me. Good reason it had been returned - the tripod was broken and non functional. Very disappointed as this was a gift. In the meantime I have ordered a different replacement telescope. The tripod was a cheap reproduction . Bad experience. EMRS

Very pleased with the overall quality of this marine telescope decor piece, as it is rather sturdy and stands at a nice height, with everything adjustable. The solid brass cover on all scope parts is also a nice touch, considering the great price. Will buy another for family.
