Huffer is amazing.
Huffer is awesome. Just wish the transformation was a bit smoother, because the alt mode looks like the vehicle got folded up slightly, but that doesn't deter how fun Huffer is. And he's accessories are interesting like the gun splits apart and with the riot shield (in which is quite incredible) becomes part of the truck bed.

Nice update to the character.
This is one of my favorite Transformers ever since I was a kid. On the rare occasions a new version is released, I do my best to get one.Pros:Looks AMAZING in robot mode. Best evocation of Huffer so far.Truck mode hits the nostalgia notes perfectly. Really looks nice.Head sculpt has a perfect Huffer expression.Arms look fantastic, with detailing that evokes his 1984 toy as well as the cartoon model.Detailing and paint look really beautiful. I could see Huffer particularly appealing to Clemson fans. His gun is a Spartan battle rifle from Halo. It splits to become the railings of the truck bed and completely blends in. Seriously cool touches. He is very poseable thanks to his ankles and feet.Cons:His riot shield doesn't attach well in robot mode, but you can loosely attach it to his back to get it out of the way. It works okay on his forearm, but he can't look through the slot. His shoulders are restricted by the truck cab on his back; moving his shoulders pops it backward. It's not a dealbreaker because his shoulders line up nicely with the cab fenders for a lot of poses. His lower legs are hollow owing to the transformation design, but it doesn't look bad or feel flimsy; there is intricate sculpted detail inside because they knew someone would complain (especially with Warpath in the same line and wave, who has probably the best leg design of any Deluxe). His front wheels can be easy to pop off during transformation. He of course towers over his Minibot brethren by a good head and a half. This isn't really a criticism, because we get a better/more complex toy.If you're a fan of the character this is pretty much a must-buy. They nailed every aesthetic trigger of the original toy and cartoon character, and modernized it. He also comes with a card in the packaging that you don't want to miss. The box art is beautiful, as is expected from this subline. If you're on the fence about getting him, get him, especially if you can for ~25. If you don't really care about Huffer, buy him and give it to your friend who likes Transformers. They will flip out.

That's new.
It's Huffer, it's perfect...EXCEPT for the accessories. Why? This makes perfect sense, except for adding parts that no version of Huffer ever had.

Kingdom Huffer
Exactly as described, packaging came perfectly and all joint are sufficiently stiff to where nothing flops around, yet are easy to move without risk of it breaking. Highly satisfied.

“Oh, I say we leave right now and forget about traipsing after the stupid Decepticons."—Huffer
To say that Huffer is cranky is an understatement. Huffer's the poster boy for whiny pessimism. He complains and grumbles his way through every day, especially since he's been shipwrecked on Earth. If he thought his existence was unbearable before, it's intolerable now, and he'll certainly let you know. There is no light in his dark hours... which is all the time.Despite what a joy he is to be around, he's very effective at his job. A construction engineer, he can whip up anything of any complexity. Unfortunately, he'll be kicking and screaming the whole way.
