Powerhouse for labels, blows Epson away.
We bought an Epson C3500 and were not happy with the labels it printed. They were grainy. We decided to take a chance on the Primera and were blown away with the quality. Hand down better printer and has been rock solid since we stared. Don't let the little ink cartridge fool you, we have printed TONS of 4 x 5 color labels and the original cartridge is going strong. Waiting to see the final count. So why 4 stars? Support is not the greatest, at least not for us. The initial setup was a little harder, and we could not get the printer to recognize the print cartridge. After spending time in a chat with support, (45 minutes because they talk to 20 people at once) we finally got it working. If you are contemplating buying a strong performing color label printer for goods you sell, this is the one. Don't even waste time on Epson. Not worth it.

DO NOT ORDER
This is now my second printer that has been replaced within 30 days and it still doesn't work properly. Ink cartridges are horrible and printer only works when it wants to. I spoke to customer service and they said that it would take 3-5 business days. Now that we’re on the fifth business day they’re saying 2 weeks. DO NOT ORDER!!!!!

I am not to sure Primera is a trust worthy company
Primera claims this on their website. At default speed, LX500 prints a 4” x 3” label at 8/minute or 480/hour. Now I am printing 1.5"x3" labels at default speeds with about 20% coverage and I can only print 5 labels per minute or 300 labels per hour. The printer sucks ink like a vampire. This printer is way over priced. Real life value is more in the $400 range. Does what i need it to though.
