Works for a Variety of Plants
I’ve used this enough now to confidently say it works. Cyclomen LOVE it! Philodendron also love it. I also use it in my vegetable garden. It’s great for squash, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes. It seems to help vegetable plants root better. My garden is in an old water trough, and the plants weren’t growing well until I started using the liquid kelp. It’s helped the plants get big enough to start producing.

My plants beg for more!
Love this supplement. Used it every other week for my new plants and cuttings. Made them grow rapidly.

Works great!
This product is made in my home town so that was a plus, but it’s natural and my plants grew exponentially when I fed this to them. Easy to use and safe with no awful odor I might add! And for me importantly it is organic!

Really works but lately price increases make this expensive
I used to buy this brand's other product, the combined Fish and Seaweed liquid fertilizer. Buying the fish fertilizer and kelp fertilizer separately really helps you customize which nutrients to feed your soil/plants at various life stages. For this kelp fertilizer, it is so mild I almost wouldn't consider it a fertilizer, it's more of a multivitamin for your plants/soil. I use it either every other watering or every third watering for seedlings. This helps prevent any early issues and gives the plants a great start, and it's so gentle you dont have to worey about overdoing it and causing issues with young seedlings. I cant think of another fertilizer that you can apply to brand new sprouts and they'll just take off and love it! If you applied even heavily diluted synthetic fertilizer you could easily burn your plants or kill seedlings. This is why so many experienced gardeners will tell you to use a weak soil and don't fertilize for quite some time until your seedlings are more established. This product is an exception to that rule because it is natural and so gentle. For more established plants I would use this product in conjunction with higher strength organic fertilizers to help give the plants micronutrients, since most NPK fertilizers are often have little or no micronutrients. Probably the most natural way to give your plants nutrients would be to top dress some organic fertilizer and add this product to your water and water those amendments in. I also use this product when I first hydrate new potting soil mix to help the beneficial microbes come alive and get established. I haven't discovered a time when this product causes any issues at all, and the plants seem to love it. To me this product is more for preventing plant issues than it is a fertilizer. Keep in mind that if plants have access to all the nutrients, micronutrients, minerals that plants actually defend themselves from pests and stressors. If your plant is truly healthy, insect pests usually leave your plant alone and search for a weaker plant to take advantage of. Imagine being an aphid and trying to suck on the plant. First thing that deters you is the plant is a tougher to bite into than usual. Hmm, not the end of the world but also not ideal. Ugh this plant tastes horrible because the plant produced it's own defensive chemicals and hormones. You can take a bite or two but now you don't feel so well, again because the plant has made some defensive toxins and stored them in the cells for defense. These toxins do not impact the plant but can mess up the digestive tracts of pests. Put yourself in the insects place. Would you want to stay on this healthy plant and continue to essentially be poisoned and everything you try to do is more difficult? No, your instinct is to move along and find a much easier target...another plant that isn't doing as well and has a compromised immune system and defenses. In fact, insects have evolved to literally smell the distress signals of plants and they seek out weak and easy meals. Your neighbor's fruit and vegetable garden is perfect because they use Miracle-Gro or some other synthetic fertilizer that doesn't supply the plants full needs, just the ones necessary to grow large and have a lot of energy. To insects these plants are essentially fast food because there's tons of calories and nothing stopping them from eating. Now because your neighbor has all these pest problems, they will be sure to apply synthetic pesticides because these products are right next to the Miracle-Gro! Now your neighbor has created a viscous cycle where the very products they apply are damaging their ecosystem more than helping it, and they will always be constantly applying synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides etc because otherwise their gardens or farms would collapse without the aid of these tools. This is perfect for the fertilizer companies (which also own the companies that make pesticide, herbicide, etc). They have a repeat customer for life! Nothing is better for a corporation than steady, reliable income. Haha I really went on a tangent there, but just know that this product is a great tool to supply the natural plant and soil ecosystem to keep things healthy!

Neptune's Harvest Seaweed Plant Food: a valuable organic supplement for your plants
Neptune's Harvest Seaweed Plant Food: I have used this organic supplement for years. Studies have been done that indicate that seaweed extracts are beneficial to plants, in terms of increasing health and hardiness. Also, for me, it is a big plus that this supplement is approved for use in organic production. I have found it very useful in transplanting new plants (or for that matter, old plants!) into new locations, and as a general "tonic" for plants. Please bear in mind that this particular plant food provides micronutrients, and is not a "total" fertilizer. You still need to provide your plants with good growing soil - which for me, means organic compost mixed with garden soil and some long term slow-release organic fertilizers like bone meal, composted manure and\or a good organic slow-release granular fertilizer, well mixed into the soil. This seaweed plant food is certainly not the cheapest plant supplement you can buy, but I think you get what you pay for, in this case. Just mix it with water in the amount directed; you can use it as either a foliar feed or a root feed - I prefer watering at the roots, as I live in an area with high summer humidity, and prefer not to have wet leaves, particularly overnight.

Great for plants!
I used this for the first time this year & I can say that my plants were very happy with my choice. I will be buying again. The price was a little higher than I expected, but all in all, not terrible for the rewards. The nice part is that you use very little in comparison to most treatments. This most definitely helped during our extremely hot and humid days in VA. I could tell my plants loved it.
