Niteangel Creative & Composable Hamster Tunnel: - DIY & Build Unique Tube Burrow as Hideout for Small Sized Animals Like Hamsters Mouse Gerbils Mice (T-Shape)

Wanted to share that these are large enough for a small to average sized Syrian hamster. So many hamster products are sized for dwarf hamsters, so I had no idea when I ordered these if they would work or not. My hamster is still fairly young, and on the smaller side, but she has no trouble with these, and I think a hamster a little bigger than her would also do fine. If your Syrian is on the larger side, these may not be the best option. It would be nice to have an extra large size option for the chonkers out there. As for quality, they're actually very thick and sturdy, and they fit together well. I mostly use them for free ranging, but since they're modular they could be nice for hamsters that like their enclosure mixed up frequently, and they're sturdy enough that they could be burried in bedding to create some undergroud spaces to explore.

We recently adopted a female Syrian hamster, and wanted help make her feel 'at home' in her habitat and encourage her to burrow. We paired this with the elbow fitting and a ladder burrow also made by Niteangel. She took to it right away and love to sleep in the burrow. It was easy to connect to the other Niteangel products and is well made. It's also large enough to accommodate a female Syrian hamster.

Quality item but hamster does not use it. I think potentially because it moves around. I have repurposed them by burying them mostly and then using the top as a place to set the food dish. That seems to work well.

My hamster is obsessed with these tunnels. Loves to chew and crawl through them.

My Syrian hamster actually stopped burrowing after I placed this in and connected it to her main house. She sometimes sleeps in it, as it’s a giant L that connects to the house and the sand bath. There are plenty of strong pieces that won’t bend, and it’s easy to reset the tunnel to its original area for familiarization after cleaning. Honestly, I'm considering buying more pieces for a longer tunnel system.
