This wonderful lipstick (it’s sold as lip balm but is a lipstick) is loaded with essential butters & oils, hyaluronic filling spheres & antioxidants that hydrate your lips. The color rose is a universal shade that looks good on anyone. Your lips feel plumper and hydrated when you use this lipstick & it’s a beautiful finish. (I love this because it’s a lipstick with lip balm qualities. I do not want chap stick that’s waxy or lip gloss that’s sticky wet.) I wasn't sure what color to order, I wanted something as natural-looking as possible and decided to go with Rose even though I have somewhat fair skin (with freckles). It has a distinct lipstick smell, which made me nervous since I don't like traditional lipstick and I didn't love the color on me at first. It has since grown on me, I thought it didn't look right with my skin tone but now I realize it gives my whole face a more youthful appearance. The best part is that the condition of my lips wasn't terrible but after starting to take better care of my skin, it made my lips look like lifeless, gray worms. This makes my lips look better long after it's worn off. I have a healthy color to my lips that doesn't look like make up at all for 24-48 hours after wearing it but not like a harsh stain. I have started putting a light coat on after my face routine and eyelash/eyebrow serum. I feel like I'm finally taking care of my whole face! The product is also top quality and you can tell as soon as you open it and inspect it. I honestly had no clue makeup like this existed and I'm elated. Don't hesitate, just splurg on this one, you won't regret it!

I have purchased this same product before. I loved the color and moisturizing quality. It stayed on for a long time. I reordered the product again since it was gone. The new product was not the same as the previous one. The color and texture was different. It didn’t have the same moisturizing feel and didn’t stay on as long. I feel that the manufacturer has changed their formula. I’ll be returning this product.

I purchased the balm in Rose. I have an e.l.f. lippy that transforms color and tgat one xan get a bit too bright pink for me. I have the IT Cosmetics lip stain in Damsel and that ine is slightly more brown than rose on me. I ise the e.l.f. first and a coat of the Damsel over it later in the day for a natural look. I was curious about the ITC balm and the price was right for the Rose color. It's very subtle, not too pink as you can see in the pics. Pic 1, my natural lips on a clean face. Pic 2, immediately after applying ONE coat/application. Pic 3, 10 minutes later. I'll use this a few more times today and they color won't get much darker than in the pics if it does at all. All in all I'm happy. No bubble gum pink lips. Another thing to mention is the el.l.f. product dries my lips out. This one does not. It's moisturizing. Same with the IT Cosmetics lip stain in Damsel. Not drying but not as moisturizing as this balm. Update: If you will be reapplying the product all day the color does get more Pink and more intense.
