Mott's No Sugar Added Applesauce, 23 Oz Jar (Pack Of 12), Good Source Of Vitamin C, No Artificial Flavors

I've been a long-time fan of applesauce. My mother fed it to me- and now I feed it to the kiddos in my home. In a home with many children applesauce is a staple for us, and it's one 'treat' that the kids can eat as much as they want of without me feeling guilty. Refills of applesauce? Yes! We can do that. This was the cheapest 'bulk applesauce' deal on Amazon when I made this purchase. You receive 8 large plastic jars of applesauce. Each jar is sealed with a metal lid and a plastic ring. The plastic ring is easy to remove and the metal lid comes right off without a lot of effort. Although these jars aren't as convenient as Mott's small 'personal cups', they're way less filling in our trashcan. I love the convenience of the small cups, but these larger jars are much better for the environment in terms of how much plastic is being thrown away- so I opt for these large jars most of the time. The applesauce itself is the best I've found. I'm usually an 'all organic' buyer- but I have yet to find bulk organic applesauce in large containers that doesn't have flavors added. This applesauce is simply that; apples made into a sauce. There is a bit of citric acid (which could either be lemon juice or lime juice) for preservation purposes- but there is NO sugar, corn starch, or added flavor. Considering I try to keep my kids on as low of a sugary diet as possible, this is a huge bonus for me. With that being said- we make our own flavored applesauce from this container! Cinnamon Applesauce: 1 cup Motts Natural Applesauce 1/3 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon 1 Packet of 'Splenda' No Calorie Sweetener Raspberry Applesauce: 1 Cup of Motts Natural Applesauce 2 Tablespoons of Pureed Raspberries Banana Berry Applesauce 1 Cup of Motts Natural Applesauce 1/2 Medium Banana Mashed 2 Large Strawberries Pureed Although my kids are huge fans of this applesauce- so am I. I find myself eating this almost daily with my lunch and I love the fact that it easily helps me get in my daily fruit intake. It's also packed with Vitamin C. The taste is fresh, delicious, and full of apple-y goodness. There's a reason we've placed multiple orders for these bulk set of applesauce; it's quality and price can't be beat. Keep up the good work, Motts. We'll be back many times in the future, I'm sure.

With first spoonful I thought not good.but second spoonful really great as I realized I was tasting great applesauce and not apple flavored sugar! They say it has no added sugar so great for health .Try it.I feel you will like it. You can always add your own sugar to the jar or serving.but I am confident that you won't .Really it's good .

Good apple sauce not too sweet. However it is watery if you want a thicker apple sauce for fiber digestion purposes go for Amazons brand which is very thick and very good for digestion. however Amazon's brand is sweet so if you don't like sweet buy the cinnamon amazon which is very sweet but not as sweet as the cinnamon. However for those with sugar diabetes issues don't go for Amazon..

I got tired of little cups that wasted so much plastic, so I bought these big jars. It is great to eat only the amount I want each time. A great value!
