Quality and easy to use.
Having previous experience using Unibond sealant i was pleased to see this smaller sized product which i needed for a small kitchen repair to the edge of worktops and tiles. In the past ive thrown away so much sealant which has gone hard or just not needed i opted for this smaller tube and glad that i did. Its very easy to use with no applicator gun and the only difficulty i found was getting the red plastic cap off the tip of the tube ! Its a push fit and seals the nozzle nicely when you are finished but i had to use a pair of small pliers to nip the tip and pull it off. You then release the security tab turn the nozzle 90 degrees and close the metal framed handle down as you apply the sealant. I'm no expert but managed a neat finish and still have some left which will be handy for a couple of other small jobs i have to do. I would highly recommend this to anyone using for a small job in the house.

Easy sealing with an effective and good looking result ~ shame about the instructions...
Bought this for the wall joint behind a bathroom basin, so didn't need much. As some reviewers have already mentioned, the font size used on the back of the can is ridiculously small (must be must be size 3-4 at most), and as these are the only instructions and safety suggestions provided with the product, it proved tricky to know how to get at the sealant and use it correctly. Having sold my microscope, I was advised by a local millennial to do what they all do, and photograph the instructions, to be read the on the phone after magnifying them (please see attached photo of the can next to a AA battery for reference). However, it was still not clear how to get the sealant flowing, as it is neither mentioned that the nozzle has to be pressed onto the joint, nor that the loop of metal is a safety catch arrangement to avoid accidental issue. Trial, error and swearing seemed to work eventually. That being said, once access to the sealant was finally gained, it turned out that the consistency and colour were both good, the silicon sticks well and is easy to work to a smooth finish. All in all, this is a good product, but the delivery system could be simpler and the instructions more user-friendly.

great amount and kit for one job like a sink!
so easy to use, no need to buy a gun as this has a little bit built in. sealed my sink in minutes, perfect for just one job! dried really quickly and looks so good. i’ve never sealed anything before and it looks great! happy with this and would recommend

Perfect for small jobs
This is a fabulous product, even if it takes a little practice to use it right for DIY blunderers such as myself. I needed to run a bead of sealant along the edge of some newly fitted shower doors, but didn't want the expense and hassle of a full sealant tube, or the fact that I'd than have a barely-used tube of sealant that I had to store somewhere for years until I finally threw it out when it went hard. This is a fabulous invention, like a can of squirty whipped cream, but for sealant. It dispenses the perfect size bead easily and silently, and is easy to use. The sealant itself is indistinguishable from "proper" profesionally-applied sealant. My tips for usage after trial and error would be: 1. If you can, practice on something first, since I found that my first attempt was rubbish but I quickly got the hang of it. 2. Don't scrimp for the sake of a quid or two, buy the bundle with the spatula/scraper - its essential and makes life a lot easier. 3. Keep a rag or kitchen roll handy to wipe excess from the spatula on to 4. Use less than you think you need to - when you then spread with the spatula, it "fills in" any small gaps Overall I found that there was very little mess using this, and it is a great solution to "small job" DIY tasks around the house. I think its good value for money too at the listed price, especially since it is complete/all-in-one and doesn't require a 'gun'/trigger frame. Very happy to recomend the product and would definitely buy again.

Messy as heck
I suppose this could be great if you know what you are doing, but I doubt that anyone who does would be looking at a product like this. If, however, you are like me and have no idea what you are doing, applying this will drive you insane. I bought this to seal an under-mounted sink in the kitchen, because the silicone keeps coming off. I've tried with a caulk gun before, but they are clunky and unwieldy. This is much easier in that respect, but the instructions, printed in minuscule print, are confusing. It took a couple of attempts to figure out how to get the stuff flowing. Once I did figure it out, everything seemed fine. For about 30 seconds. It is impossible to apply this stuff neatly. Period. And I didn't know that it shrinks as it dries. After I managed to get the gap between the sink and the counter surface look tidy enough, but still awful, I took a deep breath and took the dog out for a walk. When i came back, there were gaps! Clearly you should use way too much and then try to tidy it up afterwards. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to give it a second go. I feel like I need to either pay someone to do it or befriend people who aren't as useless as I am.

Easy to use
Easy to use, the nozzle is quite good at keeping it mostly tidy just don’t press too much. If u have a large bathroom it’s probably best to get at least two because mine ran out before I finished my bathroom which isn’t a big room.

Finally a sealant that is easy to use
After years of using using a cumbersome sealant gun with a massive tube that is impossible to control, punishes you by continuously chucking out sealant when you forget to release the trigger rachet...and dries out when you next go to use it 6 month later I found this clever little gem. Small and easy to hold in one hand and after a couple of false starts allowed me to do a nice thin, consistent beading around the bath. Literally the first time the bath ( and my hands) don’t look a total, embarrassing state after I've attempted to reseal. I'd even use the term "semi professional". So pleased I decided to do the windows too. Have to see if dries out in tube but tbh it was a nice small tube so not massive loss if does. Also hoping the mould resistance is better than the promises made by previous expensive sealant.
