Rummo has become my go to pasta brand
I’ve been eating supermarket own brand pasta but thought I’d give these a go after hearing that these are real pasta. I was really skeptical at first but wow I can really notice the difference. It consistently cooks to a true al dente texture with firm to the bite. The surface is slightly rough, which makes sauces cling to the pasta. There’s also a noticeable wheaty flavour. All of these things have elevated my pasta, especially when using san mazanno tomatoes. These are more expensive compared to supermarket brands, however the differences are clear and make it worth it.
