I love this little box. It is important to remember the limitations of the lock and the cable. I have attempted to pick the lock but I suspect its fairly easy to do. The cable will prevent a quick run but I dont think it would stand up to a lot of yanking or literally probably scissors. That said, its a solid little box and its been invaluable since I bought my pistol. It fits really nicely under the seat and the cable goes around the rail easily. It also happens to fit in the back of seat pocket in my equinox. I have a dog seat cover that makes seeing anything under it impossible, so its very nicely secured when I go into places that I cant carry. I've also used it to hide my pistol in little nooks (between totes in my closet with the cable looped through a couple of heavy totes) when people in my vicinity did not need access to it. I highly recommend this lock box, fully acknowledging its shortfalls. Redundant locks, ease of concealment, routinely ensuring those things are happening and not getting complacent are the keys to gun safety.

Nice and compact case. It will keep out a child or honest people but could be opened easily with a hammer and small pry bar.

ONE STAR due to Amazon Warehouse selling a used product, missing parts as "LIKE NEW". Lockbox a solid 4 stars (5 at this price point) and Seller 5 Stars. I have a similar lockbox to this, so I was able to avoid locking it, making it totally useless. Amazon Warehouse listed this product as "LIKE NEW". They failed to notice that 1) the securing cable was missing 2) the instructions were missing, 3) the combination had been changed Luckily they didn't move any of the combo wheels which would have made the product useless as the factory combo of 000 had been changed). The box itself was undamaged. I reset the combo and found an old piece of cable that I could modify to work, IF i decide not to return this lockbox. Over the last 3 yrs AW purchases have gone from accurate and a great buy to a high percentage of inaccurate descriptives, ie Like New, to parts broken and/missing. If you are only saving a few dollars you may be better off to ignore AW and pay the extra to buy new. This lockbox itself is a good 4 star basic security box. I deducted one star so as to not mislead others into thinking it a high security item. For lock boxes I prefer the combo over the hassle of keeping up with a key. this is fine for basic security of valuables or a firearm when traveling. It will prevent a snatch and grab theft. Of course if a prybar or cable cutter enters the picture; it and it's contents are probably gone. At this price point it is good basic security. A higher security box and attachment system would be much greater expense and probably still fall victim to a prepared criminal. with tools.

I got this for my car to lock up my ruger lcp 380 which fits perfectly in it. It was easy to set up and create or change the passcode. My only complaint would be the cable does not lock in place inside of the case so every time I open it the cable falls out and I have to find it. Otherwise, works great and seems like good quality.

Works great. Easy to store under a car seat and secure to the frame. Very ideal for securing small valueables in your vehicle such as documents, cash or credit/debit cards, or small firearms like handguns. Changing the passcode to my preference was also very easy with the provided instructions that are shipped with the lockbox.

Perfect for a Glock in an inside waistband holster.

I was expecting very little from these safes being that they're in the ~$20 "ish" dollar range. However, I was pleasantly surprised which is why I'm writing this review (I purchased 2). They have a pretty good weight to them, and it was very easy to set the combinations. I was looking at comparable electronic ones that were in the $120-$180 range and for this price its a no brainer. Additionally, I never have to worry about swapping out batteries, or batteries dying when I need this thing to work. The only trade off is maybe timing? For my usage of these, time is not that important. I can open it, and have access to what's inside in about 2-3 seconds. Maybe if you get a more expensive one with fingerprint scanner you can cut that down to 1 second. However, in my experience I'm moving away from fingerprint safes. They often fail, have to read your fingerprint multiple times, or the batteries die, and that is not something you want if you need access to what's inside quickly. This was a good purchase, and would do it again, if I find the need to put one somewhere else. Side note, I also have multiple "StopBoxs", if you know what those are you can keep reading, if not you can disregard this. I have to say I like this box more than them. I may be switching to these instead because changing the combo on StopBoxs is a pain, and they're very expensive.

Really happy with this Dalmbox gun safe. Works great, and gives me peace of mind for secure storage. The only complaint is the setup took a couple tries, but once it was set, it’s been reliable. Overall, a great buy!
