Q: I have assembled so far but how can i get the hour, minute and second hands to go on the little grey point?

As I mentioned in my review most of the hands DID NOT FIT. The holes are too small. The clocks existing hands fitted ok but the clock stops and restarts every so often now and I have to keep putting it right. It's a 2 faced garden clock. Other original face is going ok. Had to bodge the hands for another indoor clock which seems to be going ok but not with my first choice of hands. Disappointing!

There is so little to go wrong with these clock parts. Obviously there is a battery installed otherwise the minute hand won’t work. Have you pressed the other hands firmly down so that they are fully engaged? If so, then I fear that the motor drive is faulty and you should send it back for a refund.

Q: What is the diameter of the clock shaft ?

the short shaft is 2-6mm thickness. the long shaft is 9-13mm thickness. hope this helps
