Fit perfectly and is working well

This is a direct replacement for a factory compressor. Make sure you flush your lines, condenser, and evaporator with A/C flush. Replace the receiver/dryer and orifice tube. Pour half of new refrigerant oil in the new receiver/dryer and pour the rest into the suction port of the new compressor. After securing all refrigerant connections, rotate the compressor 10 times using a clutch holding tool to pump the oil through the compressor. Leak test with nitrogen, pull a vacuum, and charge system. I saved a lot of money by purchasing parts and tools from Amazon. UPDATE: This compressor is still working great in my truck 04/04/2018

So far, so good, Wish it included new dowels, the auto parts primates couldn't source any for me and I had to improvise.

This item does not fit a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT.

Been on my truck for a year and is working perfectly.

Good quality

Installed in a 1996 Ford Explorer with a 4.0 V6 in July 2016. Followed all proper installation procedures including flushing, installing a new filter-drier. Compressor failed in 13 months. I will be looking at a different supplier for the next one.
