I recently purchased a 14 inch central machinery bandsaw and am going over improving and upgrading things. One of the biggest opportunities is to reduce excessive vibration of the saw. There are a few factors contributing that I’m also addressing but one of the easiest was related to the original ball bearings on the top wheel. In the process I noticed that the original bearings on the top wheel. After taking it off and carefully inspecting, I found that the original ball bearings were making small noise while spinning and could feel some unnatural resistance and beating. So I decided to swap them to something better and found these Timken ball bearings of the same type. Reading through a lot of positive reviews made me confident they should be better than the original ones. Hence, I ordered these. Upon visual inspection and a quick spin test they sure looked like a high quality product. I then removed the old ones and installed these. The fit was perfect and the noise with beatings went away. I’m very happy with this brand and surely will be ordering more of different kinds from them as I have lots of repairs to do and the things just keep coming. The price is very reasonable too given good quality. I would recommend these ball bearings.

Replaced some 30 year old original bearings on a black and decker bench grinder with these Timken bearings. The grinder actually worked okay, some minor shake at top speed (3500 rpm). I have to say, these bearings have transformed this piece of equipment, runs shockingly smooth. You would think it was a high end piece. Very pleased with these, will most likely improve operation of just about any device they are installed in.

Bearings were just what I ordered. Replaced the 2 bearings on idler wheels in a Delta benchtop belt/disc sander combo. It was breaking new belts. Bearings were easy to install. Sander runs great now.

I noticed my Smooth Fitness 5.25 Treadmill roller bearing were starting o make a low growling noise that was getting progressively worse each time it was in use. I took the covers off and noted both the front and rear bearing sets were noisy. I checked the OE manual that came with the treadmill, didn't show any replacement part # for the bearings, only complete roller assembly. Checked OEM website, out of business. Found a place with used ones, the roller assemblies were $149 each, who knows how many hours on those bearings. So I checked the bearing numbers and found all 4 were a 6202-Z, knowing the zz variety is a sealed bearing, decided to purchase them. Found I could easily remove the bearing from the rollers and extracted all 4 bad bearings, installed the new TIMKEN 6202-ZZ (much better quality bearing). Noise issue resolved and I'm elated with the outcome. Excellent quality bearing at a reasonable price. Ordered a set for a back-up I like them so well!
