Bought these for the car to plug in my music filled USB flash drives as the new car had type C sockets as opposed to type A in the previous model. These work a treat, the connection feels good and solid and the adapters themselves appear to be very well made and robust. I don't use them for charging, purely for music listening and they work perfectly in this respect for me, Really pleased with my purchase and the price paid. Excellent!

Very handy, I now have 6 of these to allow backwards compatibility. Works even with PS5 and PSVR1 connections. However, I have run into an odd limitation. They don't allow connection to a new 2024/2025 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air for an Apple wired keyboard with the old USB hub inside. Just won't accept a connection. Nothing to do with macOS permissions. Perhaps it cannot pass the correct power. A super cheap freebie dongle thrown in with a mouse mover works, so it must be a specific limitation of this product. Unfortunate.

Great for Apple products

This 2-pack of Anker adapters are very good quality. They worked for me as expected for the transfer of both power and signal to/from my phone and camera. Mechanically they appear to be very sturdy, and are a good tight fit for both the USB-C and USB-A connections. I bought them while they were on special which provided good value. Can highly recommended.

I still have old USB 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.0 cables which (with this converter) I can still use with new laptops equipped with USB C ports keeping my previous investment alive
