I recently swapped out the bulb in my salt lamp and it made a huge difference in how the space feels. I used the 15 W replacement bulb (E12 base) designed for salt lamps and the soft warm glow is exactly what I was going for — cozy, ambient, perfect for my “mom unwind” corner after the kids are in bed. The lamp now gives off that warm amber-pink hue I love for Reels at dusk. What I appreciated: the bulb size fit perfectly (no weird gaps), the color temp stayed warm (rather than bright white), and it felt like a little upgrade for under $10. What to know: if you have a large salt rock lamp (heavy stone) you might need a higher wattage so it warms properly. Also, the “health benefits” of salt lamps are still up in the air, so for me the magic is ambience + ritual not miracle air-cleansing. Bottom line: If you want mood lighting, a cozy corner, something that photographs beautifully and helps you mentally unwind — yes, go for it. Just pick the right bulb size/wattage and socket, and you’ll be set

These bulbs made a huge difference in my salt rock lamps. I have some large lamps and the bulbs I had did not light the entire rock. But these bulbs make a big difference in the amount of light that comes from the rocks. Glad I purchased. Highly recommend.
